Holiday Isles Resort

Location was great. Pool area was big enough to accommodate several families. Table and chairs outside each room for comfort and socializing. The room was sooo clean. There extra pillows and blankets already in the room. Couch had pillows. Everything in the worked from the remote, lamps, and microwave/fridge. Plenty of seating area inside the room for guests during the day coming back from the beach. Staff was so nice especially with our late arrival/checkin.

The parking was located in the back around like a u-turn. Very difficult to navigate from the checkin entrance.

Clean pool and pool area. 3 min walk to beach public access. I like the different mix of people. Right next to The Reef which has a great breakfast, lucnh, dinner and late night menu, plus the BEST bloody mary on the beach. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Anthony the checkin guy was awesome! Answered all our questions and was very helpful. Don't know when the poor guy sleeps as we saw him late into the night and bright and early the next morning

You can tell this is an older motel that has been updated. Checkin area is small, so only one person can be in the office at a time, the rest have to stand outside. But outside the office was covered. It's a little difficult pulling in to checkin as the front area is very small. It would help if there were signs out front letting people know the parking is in the rear. We arrived when there were three or four people checking in so it was a bit congested.

Hotel staff was very nice. Very helpful as well.

The sidewalk to my room (25) is a bit scary to maneuver. The concrete ramp is so close to chairs you cannot get around it to reach the door to your room. I fell my first day there trying to maneuver that ramp and walk and hurt my leg pretty bad. I alerted to office staff to my fall as well immediately after. I fell last Thursday and 4 people witnessed it and tried to help me. My leg has worsened so I will be seeing my Dr tomorrow. The chairs NEED TO BE REMOVED AT LEAST IN FRONT OF ROOM 25.

First impressions to me are the most important. We were greeted with warm, friendly, personal both with a sense of humor. I like that. I was pleasantly surprised when we opened the door ro our room. Although the building itself you could tell was old and dated, the decor and furnishing were very pleasing to the eye. Personally I was impressed the styling and my friend and I discussed how wise it was to choose to spend dollars on decorating to make everything pleasing to the eye. Beds were very comfortable with the exception of my friend noisy bed.

The room could have smelt better, although it looked very clean it did not smell very clean. I did not feel safe parking my car. Although the motel was on the main drag the parking was behind, pretty much on the street, in what appeared to be a less thasn savory neighborhood. Our room was a short distance from where we parked which was good. Beach access was not as easy as we would have expected. We ended up driving down the street a ways to a public access point.

The room was great and the pool was so good although water seemed to be a tad cloudy .

the bathroom is in need of updating . especially the bath . the kitchen was small and compact and no room for for preparing food . the cooker definitely needs replacing, it was old and had a job to good even a pizza in it . there was not enough kitchen equipment . especially for a family of 6. bigger saucepans and baking trays needed. more plates and utensils needed .

The hotel was really nice maintained. rooms were great. they have BBQ grills as well :) Also they have water toys and pool accessories that the kids can enjoy and you dont have to buy any while there. The staff was amazing. Really clean maintained hotel.

hotel is on the other side of a busy street. There is no crosswalk to get on the other side of the street to get to the Madeira Beach. Was hard to cross most of the days. The pool was big and nice but so cold! i couldn't get in. They also said i have a kitchenette in the room, which i didn't have. So make sure when you book to ask ahead and make sure you get one if thats important to you.

Super nice staff. Good location Liked 2 separate bedrooms. Liked having 2 pull out couches instead of one. Nice pool . Tv in each room was nice. Like the sitting areas outside each room.

Room needs updated. Stained furniture and blankets. $450 a night is more than we pay for our beachfront condo a night so room should reflect that - at least somewhat. Moldy bathroom and tub mat. Step down from bathroom to kitchen is concerning and is an accident waiting to happen.

This property is way underscored at a 7.1 in Booking.com. We were surprised when we checked in a went to our room. It appeared to have been remodeled recently. The room size was spacious and met our needs. The pool are looks great. This area has also been recently updated. Obviously the owners of this facility care about the guest experience. The extended patio with table & chairs outside each room is a huge plus. We will definitely return.

The parking area is behind the family and has very easy access.

The property is across the street from the beach. A 5 minute walk max. The resort was clean, well maintained, and I didn’t expect it to have chairs out of every room. Also, the guy from the front desk was very helpful taking my luggage down the stairs.

I did not like that the parking lot it’s a bit tight and that you can hear everyone from outside the room. Also one of our rooms AC was no working properly.

the check in process was somewhat odd as when you pull into parking area to office there’s only 2 parking spots , I was dropped off so I went to go inside office and was told to wait outside and someone would come get me , after watching 2 other guest leave the facility they spoke to me over a loud speaker allowing me to go in .
