Cambria Hotel St Petersburg-Madeira Beach Marina

Love the location and rooftop pool and view. Room was sufficient and clean, everything you need for a couple nights stay. The valet parking has been added since our last stay, although convenient, is pricey.

The pool and the hot-tub could use some updating. At our last stay, the pool water was milky white and we never used the pool, it was not clean. This time the water is ice cold, needs to be heated. The hot-tub is barely hot, lots of sand in it and the jets never really turned on. You just sit in lukewarm water. Being this is a feature of your rooftop, they should be working properly and be ready for your guests.

Clean and modern. The Bluetooth speaker in the bathroom mirror was nice. Rooftop bar was nice. I personally recommend getting food from 3rd floor restaurant because the food they serve upstairs comes from there.. Big tv that swings. Comfy clean room. An actual thermostat in the room. Ambient lighting. 5 minute walk to the beach and several great restaurants bus stop within 2. nearby stores within fat guy walking distance.

No TV channel guide. I feel like they should have a pamphlet or welcome pack in the room because they offer a lot of things that wasnt necessarily explained the best.. And it was supposed to be a on demand cleaning service but they were in there when we didn't request it.

Staff was friendly and it was super easy/convenient to text the front desk to get toiletries restocked. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfy. Our balcony offered excellent views of the sunrise and sunset.

The food at the rooftop bar and restaurant wasn't very good. The truffle parm fries were cold and soggy, like the oil wasn't hot enough to properly fry them; the entrees lacked flavor and were overcooked/dry.

We liked the location. The beds were comfortable. Liked having the coffee machine and fridge. Liked the rooftop but closed too early.

when we arrived there was empty drink can sitting on the floor and signs of a few spills on the floor that were sticky so don’t think the floor had been cleaned. Also didn’t like the fact that Valet parking was mandatory and a charge of $25 a day. We would have liked to been able to go directly to our car to get items without having to ask for it each time. Plus you feel obligated to tip the staff each time on top of having to pay the fee. I feel like this is an unnecessary task and didn’t consider it an amenity. Also we don’t like strangers driving our car. Parking should be defined when booking a stay.

Stephanie and Emily were amazing!! Anthony was super nice and pleasant. He went above and beyond when I broke a glass five minutes after I entered my room. He insisted on cleaning it up and making sure every piece was picked up.

The service and treatment by the staff at the rooftop bar. I am diabetic and needed to eat. Ordered iced tea. No sugar available. Had to ask to order food. After I received a menu it took 12 mins for him to come back and take my order. He was having more fun with the younger girls at the other end of the bar. After I got my food my server disappeared. Finally came back after ten mins and grabbed his back pack and left. I was never checked on or asked if I needed anything by any other server. Also, the reference to the “old guy with the beer belly” was extremely distasteful. As well as the conversation and comments about the “girls” at the bar. Also, there were not any non alcoholic beverages available for purchase at the little snack shop in the lobby.

The staff was great. From the front desk to the valet. The daytime bar tenders, Tim and Sam at the roof top bar were awesome as well. Everyone was very friendly. Our first night, the a/c in our room wasn’t working. After maintenance determined they couldn’t fix it quickly, they moved us to a different room, upgraded us to the suite at no additional cost! Would highly recommend.

Not much. Our entire stay was great, except for the minor inconvenience of the a/c not working when we first arrived. The only other thing would be maybe putting larger refrigerators in the room. Everything else was great!

Can’t say enough about the communication, staff, hospitality and overall service of this hotel. Even when things were out of their control - elevator going out or the city sewage issue - this hotel and the entire staff upped its’ game by keeping everyone informed at all times via text or phone call. This is a must stay hotel if on Treasure Island, Madeira Beach for all reasons!!!

The two items listed above were not the hotels fault but if I were to make this a 6 out of 5 start rating instead of the 5 out of 5 I’m giving it then I’d have to say the first floor lobby could be finished off eventually to equal the rest of the hotels clean atmosphere. Also the water marks on the top floor where pool is located could be addressed but PLEASE REMEMBER, I’m giving it a 5 outta 5 rating regardless.

The manager is very energetic and super nice. The staff were professional and friendly. The hotel is family-friendly. They hide gold coins for kids to find and turn in for a prize. There is also a tub of beach toys available to borrow. This hotel was clean and modern. I like that there was complimentary flavored ice water and coffee in the lobby. The rooftop pool area was fun and had great live musicians. I love the location. It was easy to walk to the beach. There is a whole bunch of restaurants and bars nearby. The valet service was quick and easy. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you Cambria!

the meals were very good and priced well. LOVED the comp champagne, infused water and snacks. Rooftop pool and bar a plus!! Nice live entertainment. Convenience to beach and outside attractions, shops, stores, restaurants wonderful. very clean facility with mostly friendly staff

inability to do room charges with bar and restaurant. gnats in my room, no attention provided. Manager guy could be a little friendlier, but he was efficient nonetheless.

The service was exceptional, both at the front desk, the restaurant and the rooftop bar/pool. The food was delicious (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and the menu options were great. We don't normally eat in the hotel, really at all, when we're on vacation but we found ourselves eating here a lot over the course of our 6 day stay. The pool on the rooftop is also a really nice bonus. Everything was super clean, easy and comfortable.

Really nothing - other than I wish there was a staircase beside the elevators as, at busy times of the day, the 2 elevators in the building were a little slow. But really that's just me trying to think of something that would be a nice to have and really isn't a "con".
