Hilton Garden Inn St. Pete Beach, FL

this hotel offers everything you’re looking for in a beach vacation. clean private beach, cabanas that you don’t have to stress over renting or paying crazy fees for, great pool, beach towels a plenty, lovely hammocks, happy hour specials from 11-2 e at the outdoor bar, live music at night, sand volleyball court, giant Jenga, excellent location to walk to restaurants, clean facility, friendly staff. rooms are well thought out- love the extra cubbies in closet, the shelves in bathrooms for toiletries, the extra lighting for late night readers. We usually never return to same destination but we already started planning when we can come back. we went for a family girls trip and it was perfect. you will not be disappointed!

we have no criticism. a suggestion though- love the paper straws for drinks but we’d love to see hotel more eco friendly - instead of handing out plastic bottles of water everyday to patrons - think about creating hydration stations on the floors or at pool. know you have drink servers filled with water for guests but having stations in hotel could help people refill bottles & slow use of plastic

Room was great, pool was great beach chairs were easy to get and use. Bathroom is much better since remodel. The groovy ghoulie locals seemed to have moved on. It was always fun and scary to watch the locals slither in on Sunday night.

No ramp for the luggage cart, so you had to jump off the sedewalk with your stuff. Very little drawer space. Had to jump into chairs at coconut charlies restaurant, I'm 5 foot nine my 5 foot wife had to mount an expedition to get into hers. Use the booths. The beach chairs were hard and had no head rest. And for some baffeling reason allowed sunlight in. The beach bar music was loud and up and down..... sometimes good alot of times terrible. The first time I went to a beach hotel, stayed 3 nights and didn't hear the big three play once. Allman, buffet and skynard. This is mostly stuff that means nothing really. The beach was in great shape, and I could see to the bottom all the way up to my neck. And of course you have to bring a cup to hide your beer on the beach.

The location on the beach was wonderful, and it was awesome being able to use the cabanas for free – it meant we didn't have to lug down the chairs & umbrella that we brought! The room was very comfortable and the staff were super friendly. The view from the room was what I had wanted and being able to check-in earlier than expected was fantastic.

The balcony was a little too small for everyone to be able to use. The elevator was super slow, there were often long waits for it to reach the 5th floor. And we kept having issues with the side door not opening, hopefully they got that fixed but we had to try 5-6 times to get it to open, which was only a problem bc we had kids with us. I think the room was a tad expensive but you couldn't beat the location.

I loved your hotel, the pool and the beach!!! I paid 320/night which Is fine but I don't expect to have to call multiple times for toilet paper, 4 towels per room and to have the room serviced each day. At the rental price of 320/night I expect daily service . front desk staff would take our request and then not fulfill them, I don't blame the cleaning people because I don't think the message was passed to them. we were told we couldn't have late checkout but could use the amenities but unfortunately our key cards were deactivated so we couldn't use the amenities. I'm disappointed in this Hilton cause it could be a great experience. on the other hand we loved breakfast everyday at coconut charlies with our favorite waitress and hostess all week - both platinum blonds but didn't know their names.

The location was unbeatable. We chose this hotel because they have the pool and beach on property. It was convenient to have the poolside bar to get food and drinks. The people working there were really nice and helpful.

The room did not have a single place to hang towels or swimsuits. We had nowhere to dry them except on the balcony. Some sort of drying rack would be ideal for a beachfront property with a pool. The food at the beach bar was great. Breakfast at the restaurant by the lobby was great but probably bettter off paying directly instead of adding it to the cost of the room. The same inside restaurant served dinner but it was not really worth the high price except for convenience. You are better off going off property.

It was fantabulous!! Everything was excellent!! Very clean nice staff! Perfect beach spot!

Nice newer facility and everything we saw in our short stay seemed well maintained. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was great!

Didn't like that our room wasn't ready till almost 5:00 p.m. even though it was a mid-week arrival. Made a big difference that the front desk person gave us a coupon for free breakfast the next morning - and the breakfast and server were both great. Went into Coconut Charlie's for dinner, but thought menu was too limited and prices were too high for such a casual atmosphere, so we went to another nearby restaurant for dinner that was more upscale. Wasn't our plan, but we didn't want to waste time searching for a meal.

We had a wonderful time at the Hilton Garden. The beach access is beautifully designed and very close. The sun loungers are comfortable. The music by the pool was at a comfortable volume. Conclusion: We got what we expected...a perfect beach vacation.

Only minor downside for us was that the restaurant was too cool and so were the hotel corridors. In our opinion, slightly higher temperatures are more pleasant.

We had a ocean/pool view room with a private balcony. The evening sunset views were spectacular! Everything is located on the property so there is never really any reason to leave. Two outstanding options for eating are just a walk away! Loved the Boom-boom shrimp and daily drink specials! Ryan was one of our awesome bartenders and made our live music by the ocean "Perfect". Towels and cabanas were included! We also enjoyed the hammocks swinging under the palms, just a slice of paradise!

Heard a dog bark a few times? Not really a problem though. It's a pet friendly resort, think we will bring our pup next time so we can stay longer!

Clean comfortable rooms. Location of pool to beach. Staff except for the manager were polite and helpful.

Luggage cart has no locking device on wheels causing it to roll and damage a vehicle. No offer of assistance for Luggage. No directions provided to rooms. When damage was reported to the manager, the manager displayed an attitude and unprofessional demeanor. When another guest checked it and questioned rate, the staff displayed a bad attitude towards the elderly guest.
