The Beachcomber St. Pete Beach Resort & Hotel

Great location. Loved the cabanas

Extended my stay from 6 to 12 days and they didn't even change the sheets after being there for the 6 days when extended.

Location, great beach access, cleanliness , updated decor.

Parking was terrible. Queen room needed a real chair, rooms need a microwave. Blinds were nice but they could be better if there were two on the main window. There is no in-between, they are either open or closed

If you are looking for a great place to stay with an awesome night life then the Beachcomber Resort and Jimmy B's bar is definitely for you!! The room was clean and updated with 2 comfy beds. They have a huge deck at Jimmy B's bar with live music every night we were there!! It was a great time!

We were put in a disability room ( I don't know why because we are not disabled) and there was no dresser for any clothing and also not enough flat space to put our things on. Also the bathroom did not have any shelving at all in the shower so our shampoo and things had to sit on the floor. Please buy a suction cup shelf for at least soap and shampoo. The sink in the bathroom had the tiniest ledge to put your toothbrush and toothpaste on. There really should have been a space for you to put some make up or bathroom items on instead of having to put everything on the floor. Lastly, there was no place to hang up our clothes (like a closet with a bar and hangers on it). We set up the ironing board to be able to have a place to drape some clothes on.

Beach was great. The included chairs and umbrella were a great touch. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The location to restuarants and other activities was good. Room was plenty big enough for my group.

Johnny B's bar is a little run down and dirty. Rooms could be cleaner. Air conditioner made my throat scratchy. Overall the place is dated and needs some "freshening" up in many areas. Not exactly a family friendly place as many young couples come to the bar area to "party".

Right on the beach! Also good pool. Music in the outdoor restaurant was a bit loud, but pretty good, and at least it stopped by midnight! The center courtyard also was very nice: hammocks, many sitting places for people to hang out, and for our larger group, to gather and hang out. Also liked that we were able to have beach lounge chairs with umbrellas with our room reservation!

The restaurant/bar was on the way to the beach, and after a certain time, kids under age couldn't walk thru it to get to the beach. Music was also a bit too loud (hey, we're not deaf, and don't want to go deaf, either!!) Also, not many breakfast options since the hotel doesn't have a morning restaurant.

The entertainment was great!

The bar by the pools had a great atmosphere and staff. Mark is a great bartender. We had a great time hanging out there.

It would have been nice to know the restaurant was closed and there was construction.

The beach was great with enough seating; the entertainment was great every night, the pool had ample seats to support those who wanted to hang out there. Front desk - Derek - was really friendly and helpful when we arrived. All staff of the resort were very friendly and helpful. Bartenders were friendly and worked hard to keep up with the crowd - we never had to wait too long for a drink. Lots of good options nearby for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks!

Wished that the folding lounger chairs were available longer so we could enjoy the beach more. And would be nice to have breakfast available and a microwave within the room.

The room was great, as were the beach services and the bar. We had an issue with the safe that was efficiently resolved by the staff, and the girl at the desk was very helpful when I accidentally locked myself out.

There was no room service during our 4 day stay.

Excellent entertainment daily, excellent access to the beach, near several restaurants, and the beachcomber restaurant was good as well. Very friendly staff, and the courtyard is awesome giant Jenga, bean big games, hammocks to lounge in as well as tables as a meeting place.

The room could have been a little cleaner, for instance wiped bathroom walls down, floors were gritty/sandy. Bathroom door and entryway door we’re kind of beat up, they are under construction and the rest of the room was nicely remodeled. We definitely missed a volleyball court in the sand as you walked off the pathway; that would really be awesome!!
