Inn on the Beach

My husband and I loved this place. It is like paradise, and we will truly recommend this place! We love the vibe, the energy of this place. It is quiet. The beach is right across the street. The Inn provides beach towels, chairs to enjoy the beach. The bikes are awesome to wander around and it is very safe.

The staff is extremely helpful and professional. They make you feel welcome like family. When we arrive, I asked if we could have an additional bed in case my son would stay for the night. We were able to be transferred to a larger room with no additional cost.

The room was huge, I was not expecting a full size kitchen! Having chairs, umbrellas, towels, and a cooler (with ice) provided for use on the beach was amazing. I got text message check in instructions, room updates, and more which was so convenient

The parking lot was small, there was only one spot when we arrived which made me nervous at first. However we walked everywhere and didn’t move our car all weekend so it ended up being no problem

Everything! Our double queen room was so spacious. Pictures don’t do justice! the shower had great pressure and dual shower head, beds were comfortable, the “closet” was as big as the bathroom-like a changing room! the patio out back was peaceful. loved the option for bikes, chairs, umbrellas and a cooler. Towels were substantial and kitchen had all the dishes we needed. I also loved that the entry was keyless, so we didn’t have to carry around a key on the beach!

If I could change anything, I would add a stool or something to the shower- it was hard to shave our legs (silly, I know). Ice was available in a cooler but when we left super early for a day of adventure, there wasn’t any available (not a huge deal). My last request would be to have a small broom available to sweep sand that we tracked in. I know if it were during the day, we could request someone to come sweep, but it would be a nice “extra”. For the record, NONE of these things impacted my opinion of the stay!

The rooms are updated with a modern touch and very clean. The location is one of the best, right across from the beach and within walking distance to several local restaurants. They provide everything! New beach cruiser bikes, coolers, sunscreen, 🌂, 💺, they had it all! Tina was so friendly and inviting. She went above and beyond to make our stay special. She had champagne and rose petals in the room for our anniversary and worked with my husband to coordinate everything to surprise me. Now THAT is amazing customer service! We will 1000% be back especially since we live a few hrs away. This place is a smaller spot which makes it more intimate and more comfortable. The doors have key pads so no worries about loosing key cards. If you can swing it definitely book the cottage!! Its a home away from home.

That we couldn't have stayed longer. Honesty this place is a gem. We had a slight plumbing issue and moved rooms, but the professionals were on the scene by 8am the next day and took care of it.

Loved this little slice of paradise – the vibe is awesome and just what I was looking for to celebrate my birthday! The beach is a short walk across the street – the Inn provides bikes, beach towels, chairs and umbrellas and is in walking distance to historic Pass-a-Grille bars and restaurants and the best sunsets! The Inn offers a lovely weekend continental breakfast. I cannot say enough about Tina and the staff who were super hospitable and helpful - I will definitely be back!

We were in Persimmon Room. Very stylish and lovely. It is located off the courtyard which had a really nice table and chair just outside the door. Very inviting. There is a gas grill in the courtyard for guest use if you want to cook out! There are also many good restaurants within walking distance, as well. The staff (shout out to Tina!) was superb -- eager to answer any and all questions quickly, cheerfully and efficiently. The morning texts asking if you needed anything is clever. Tell them what you need and it magically appears. There are many choices of room types if you book early enough! Beach chairs, beach towels and umbrellas all provided for your use while at the Inn on the Beach. The umbrella was a must have by the 2nd day! Bikes are free as well. Go for a ride!

This is a beach hotel and I can imagine how difficult it is to keep sandy floors clean with quick guest turnaround. My only comment is that perhaps the floors need to be washed (floors are beautiful modern vinyl plank) more frequently. But I just put on a pair of socks when in the room and all was fine. It truly is a beautiful space. And it's the BEACH.

Loved everything about this place! Clean beautifully decorated with queen bed, 50" tv and kitchen. Nice updated bathroom and spacious shower plus a private terrace! Located close to shops and restaurants and right across from the beach. Tina and staff are so hospitable and made the stay exceptional. We will be back to stay again soon!

Crisp neutral beachy decor and furnishings. Comfortable bed and side chair. Wonderful stone shower. Pretty courtyard.

We checked in at 3:00 and were placed in a small but cozy first floor inner corner room (Orange Blossom) directly next to the inn’s laundry/work room. We were both exhausted and wanted a nap before heading out to walk and eat. For the next two hours there was so much banging, noise and loud talking between employees that a nap was not possible. I would love to have been told where our room was located and given a choice to upgrade to a different location.

Great area away from the over populated beaches. A bit more quaint, but not too far from the necessities. Rooms were clean. Everything you would need for the beach supplied by the inn. Coolers, chairs, umbrellas, towels. Even sunscreen. Bikes are available for a nice cruise down the beach. The trims were clean and spacious.

My only complaint was parking was tight.

I would highly recommend this Inn. Very clean and the manager went out of her way to be accommodating and recommended places nearby we could eat at. She was fantastic and loved that the room and service was so clean. Location was the best right across from the quiet beach. Would definitely go again!

They need extra room on the side of the bed for another endtable--better pillows and could use another mirror in the room.
