Seffner Inn and Suites

The location was just right for our needs. Staff was nice with checking in and out going smooth. Rooms were really nice size. The hotel was tucked in a way I felt very safe. No hot breakfast except for waffles but there was a good variety of fruit and cereal.

I don't know if it was because of the freezing weather outside but had a hard time getting the room warm. Was really disappointed with the towels. We got 2 very small towels, 1 hand towel, and 2 washcloths. There were some things that really needed some attention in the room, especially in the bathroom.

Mike is the first person everyone sees as soon as you check in. He always greets with a smile and a great attitude. Also, he is very accommodating. Whatever you need, if it's possible, he will make sure to get it to you. He even gave us the best rates he could give. This was so important to us since we just lost our home. We didn't have anywhere to go. Thank you, Mike, for your hospitality.

I have no complaints

pool was very clean, they had more then enough living space in the rooms. they did apologize for the inconvenience of remodeling. it is within a walking distance from the truck stop. the rooms had no problems keeping cool and comfortable.

they where in the process of remodeling. no biggie, I totally understand.

Staff was very cordial and helpful. Good location for our needs. Facilities a bit dated adn worn, but perfectly adequate. Clean and welcoming.

Breakfast was mediocre at best. No real low-carb options. I'm diabetic and can't eat biscuits, waffles, bread, etc.... without a protein. Eggs were my only option and they were not very appetizing.

My kids did enjoy themselves so that's a plus. The AC in the room was just magnificent!!! Nice comfy bed and tv in room plus living room area was nice to have. Front desk was pleasant. And there was always a luggage carrier for anyone to use. Loved seeing that. Very rare when we travel. Over all nice trip for my first time to Tampa without my hubby.

Elevator stopped working out first night and wasn't fixed until next day mid afternoon. Carpet in room needs to be replaced ASAP! Stains all over. Let out bed might as well call it a cot. I had my mom with me and she didn't mind the cot but me an my kids sure did! They slept in the bed with me They should not offer those to guests anymore. Either get new mattresses or just get rid of them and put in a nice sofa. Also the mini fridge did not keep our drinks or food cold however it was a nice size for a mini fridge.

Check in staff was very rude. We checked in around 11:30 pm because we were from out of town and at a music festival all day. It seems that my bank flagged my CC for suspicious activity because they saw a bunch of out of town charges (i heart my bank for taking care of me). When we finally checked in, front desk guy was very rude and berating even though I provided him with a different CC to cover the room cost. If it wasn't so late at night I would have walked out and found another hotel to stay at...

Both receptionists I encountered were friendly and efficient. The room was spacious and the inn had a lovely front yard. We had a pleasant stay and a good night's sleep. The room was pretty clean.

Somehow at almost all inns bedside lamps are overlooked, this one had a good amount of dust, as electricity brings dust toward lamps.

We first went to the wrong country inn and had to travel a little bit to get to the correct location. Once we pulled up, I saw a lot of trucks, and the outside look made me a little nervous. My husband said if I'm not comfortable, we could go elsewhere. It's not good to judge a book by it's color . This hotel is absolutely beautiful and was perfect in every way. The first time in a long time that I'm able to say this about a hotel . We travel a lot. Very clean. There's a shortage of staff but please don't think that's a problem because as a team (even the front desk staff) they did what they had to do to ensure that rooms were taken care of. My husband and I have found a nice get away. We will definitely stay again.

The only problem were that the beds could be more soft. Fortunately, they were in the process of bringing in new beds that were more comfortable. Hats off country inn 👍

the property had a pool and it was close to a lot of fun activities. the staff were very nice and the bed was comfortable. the a/c kept the room very comfortable.

they were in the middle of remodeling. I was not happy with the breakfast.

The location was good with easy access to the freeway. Room was very clean and fresh. Loved the shower. Several restaurants nearby.

We had a problem with our tv and asked at the desk for someone to help us. We were told no one was available. I went back the next day and was told to come back at 10:30 and someone would be there. We had things to do and had to leave. I feel someone should have tried to help with our tv or at least swapped another TV from a vacant room.
