Sailport Waterfront Suites

The room was great with a view of nature and the sea. It was a wonderful short vacation. It was more than I expected. I would stay again in this Sea Resort.

Location was excellent.

Requested a room with a better view even opting to pay additional charges. Was told they would get back to us in a few minutes while they looked to see if one was available. Waited almost an hour and called back front desk only to be told there wasn't anything available - I wondered why they did not call back with that info instead of making us wait an hour and having to call them back.

The room was actually a full, 1 bedroom apartment. Full size kitchen appliances, microwave, fridge and stove. Living room with sofa and small table and 2 chairs. Tvs in living room and bedroom. Balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. Shelly at the bar was awesome!! She even loaned us snorkel gear to use!! Erwin, the maintenance man helped us the first night we were there. We didnt bring our key for our lock on our luggage and he snipped it right off fir us!! Thank you!! Great sunset!

If you want the hustle and bustle from St. Pete beaches location, this isn't close to all that. It's about 30-40 minute drive. The property smelled like pot every night, but that's been something I've noticed everwhere lately.

Beautiful views, great location. Staff was very nice. Awesome pool bar, great drinks, nice relaxing seating area. The music in the morning was terrific.

Stayed for 6 days but could not get maid service once during that time. They said it was due to Covid but not believing that.

I was looking for a quick getaway in the Tampa area with my kids. Many reviewers recommended that Sailport was god for families- and I agree. The room I booked (more like a mini suite) was very clean, spacious for the 4 of us, and had a small kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, as well as kitchenware to accommodate guests. That was very nice. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean-no mold or mildew stains. The pool was a nice size and was heated perfectly (in my opinion) so even on the days where it was bit cooler, my kids had a ball swimming. There is also a sandy beach area with volleyball net, tables and lounge chairs. You can't access the water, however, due to a natural seawall made from several large rocks. That wasn't a show stopper, as we enjoyed playing volleyball in the sand. There was also the beach bar/restaurant on site, Big Bamboo. We interacted with that staff the most, and they were always very friendly and efficient. We ordered breakfast and dinner from there over the course of our stay, and I thought the food was actually really good. It may have been a bit more money (not too much compared with area restaurants we went to) because of convenience, but factoring in a long day of being in the sun and swimming, it was well worth it. All in all it was clean, close to the airport, had a heated outdoor pool, nice staff, and great accommodations. Perfect for families or those looking to get away to a pleasant hotel while still being affordable.

We did not arrive at the hotel until about 11 pm. Pulling into the complex, it was hard to see where check in was. There was not a clear, lit sign, directing you to the lobby. After parking and looking, we saw a sign that said lobby was on the second floor. During the day, it was clear to see the lobby, but in my opinion a larger sign indicating the lobby location would be helpful to those travelers who arrive at night.

The location and setup of rooms and balconies were great. A little older but still nice. Comfortable bed. The kitchen comes with dishes and cookware. Had private bedroom, bathroom with tub and shower, full kitchen with counter seating, a living room area with pull out bed and table and chairs. Balcony had a small table and 2 chairs. Tv in bedroom and living room with cable services and wifi. Nice pool, restaurant, gated entry, sand lounge area, and dock. There is only one elevator, and it is slow, and not close to many rooms, but there are a few staircases. Water pressure is not great,bad smells from drains, and has some bugs. Would not leave donuts on the counter! Book said limited housekeeping every 3 days, depending on the length of stay. Stayed 5 nights and never saw anyone and had to go ask for clean towels. Staff was always polite when we encountered them. Would recommend and stay again.

Requested each day but we were not accommodated. > During week-long stay, never had even one visit from house-keeping, although we made requests at the office for service. We clean the room ourselves. As you probably noticed, we left the room the way that we found it. > Living room furniture was old, paint peeling on the chairs and coffee table.

The restaurant offered breakfast AND lunch/dinner items - everything was delicious! I loved the location, the view from our room, the airport shuttle service, and the room was spacious with a kitchen. The front desk staff was very helpful and polite. Very close to the beach.

The room was a little outdated, but functional. We would have liked to have had housekeeping services. No one cleaned our room or even gave us fresh towels or knocked on the door the whole time we stayed ☹️. Overall, I would still stay again!

Friendly and convenient to airport

Bedroom needs a fan and kitchen would be nicer if a small bottle of dish detergent was available. Also, at night, despite sign saying quiet in thw hallway, maybe emphasize this when checking in as I had a early rising and at 1130p some guests treated the hallway like it was during the day. Kids and adults yelling or running down the hallway. Also, for shorter elderly people, the bed should have some type of pullout step maybe for them to use. Esp if they have back or.hip issues. Just a thought!

Reception staff didn't explain anything. Didn't explain how I can get to my room. Where was the pool, neither the time. Didn't tell were to park. During night time I went out when I came back to the hotel. The security wasn't there so I had to wait for him. When he came back, he asked me if I didn't know that the room key open the barrel. Because the receptionist didn't tell me that neither. I think they need to train people on how to be polite.

Receptionist. I think they need more elevators. Bathroom smell like pee. Room wasn't very clean.
