Hampton Inn Atlanta-Georgia Tech-Downtown

Overall the stay at the Hampton was very good. The staff members were always very polite and helped when needed. The breakfast was always fresh and tasty. The 24 hour coffee was a hit for the wife and I. The room was good, but could have been cleaned a little better before our arrival. The toilet water ran the whole time we were there which isn’t a huge deal but could be annoying to some. Overall we had a great stay and would stay again at this location.

Our toilet in the room ran water our whole stay. Not a huge problem but could get annoying to some. I did notice the a/c not seeming to keep up with the set temperature. I pulled the filters and they were not clean and haven’t been cleaned. I dusted them off in the trash can and seemed to function much better.

This was my third time staying here. We came for the PeachTree Road Race. The location was convenient to get to the race. When we returned breakfast was still being served, and it was delicious!! The room was very neat and clean. Everything that was advertised was provided. Parking was right at the hotel!! The car was ready whenever we needed it. Staying at the Hampton Inn Atlanta-Georgia Tech-Downtown will become our family tradition for the PeachTree Road Race. Thank you!!

I cannot think of anything to improve for us. Our stay was great!!

The location is unbeatable when visiting Georgia Tech. This is our second time staying in this hotel. It's literally across the street. They have a shuttle that will drive you around locally and there is a parking deck.

The breakfast could stand some improvement.

The staff was friendly and breakfast was well stocked. They had snacks and beverages available for purchase. It was a good value for the price. The hotel is very close to Georgia Tech campus and walking distance to the Georgia Aquarium.

We had a ground floor room which was next to a busy/noisy street. I was slow to fall asleep the first night, but was able to tune out the traffic so didn't ask for a room change. If you are a light sleeper, I would ask for an upper floor. Also, we were told there is a $20/day valet parking charge and is the only practical option for this location. However, we were not charged for the parking.

the location is perfect ! it’s near everything ! ducked off so it’s low key. first I’d like to say, they have housekeepers that love what they do. you can tell because the room was extremely clean, the carpets looked like they were shampooed recently and there was not a speck of dust on any of the baseboards or lamps. just pristine ! that’s huge for me. the front desk and valet are so nice ! it was just a perfect stay. we needed it for a night but would have stayed longer had we known breakfast was included in your booking and valet was only $20/night. my husband said the breakfast was excellent, I slept in. he went for a jog around the Georgia tech campus said it was wonderful. no one bothered us, it was a perfect stay

the valet drive up is very narrow but other than that, nothing else.

The location of the property was great, right across the street from Georgia Tech campus. It was also walkable to downtown. We definitely felt safe in this location. The room was comfortable and the staff was friendly. They had a nice continental breakfast. I would definitely stay here again!

my only complaint is that there was no sort of restaurant that was easily walkable. That really isn’t something I didn’t like about the property, just maybe the location.

The staff were super welcoming and very helpful and kind. This was our second stay, as her son is attending college in Atlanta. Everyone was very pleasant and genuine.

The plumbing in the bathroom probably should be looked at in room 218. Toilet was constantly running and showerhead very low. Also paint peeling on the bottom of the tub inside. Otherwise very comfortable.

This was my first time in Atlanta so residing on a traffic heavy street was new to me. There were times that made it hard to fall asleep due to loud vehicles outside. Not the hotel’s problem but something to consider when staying here. :)

This hotel was perfect for our trip! Easy to get to, great parking, super helpful and kind staff, and yummy breakfast. We were doing a campus visit at GA Tech (and tossed in a visit to World of Coca-Cola) and this hotel was within walking distance of everything we needed. Parking was affordable and they even let us keep using the lot (for free) after checkout until we were done with our tours. The amazing view from our room was nothing to sneeze at either. :)

I genuinely have zero complaints.
