Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Downtown

The location is amazing, we bought tickets to coke world and it was literally 5 minutes down the street! Awesome view from our room overlooking the city and the skywheel. Kids enjoyed the pool as well.

PARKING!! the only reason I booked was for the location to the attractions we were visiting. Parking will set you back $40-$50 A NIGHT!!! have never paid to stay in a hotel and then been asked to pay 1/3 of the price of the room to park my car. So tack on an additional $40 to your nightly rate to get your actual rate. Also the hot tub on the roof has caution tape all around it which took away from the views ,flapping in the wind etc. Also pack snacks!! Wife got 4 ice cream sandwiches and 2 bags of unpopped popcorn and it set us back $34!.

We chose the Hilton Garden Inn as our jumping off point to our visit to Atlanta. The Georgia Aquarium is across the street as are the Coca Cola Museum and the National Center for Civil and Human Rights (a must see!).

The hotel’s Mexican restaurant, Dos Bocas, was supposed to be open until 9 PM. Our party stopped by the restaurant at 8:15 PM for a late meal. We were told the restaurant was closing and there were still people enjoying a meal. There was no reason for why we could not get service. We ordered carry out as our only option at that hour. The meal was terrible, plus the meal was expensive. Try Twin Smoker’s BBQ or Max’s Coal Oven Pizzeria instead.

The room was spacious and very clean. Gorgeous bathroom. You needed your hotel key for every door! Security was top notch. Guest services were speedy and very helpful. Every floor has sea animal murals and facts about them. Very beautiful views. Pool was great!! Except the indoor one smelling so strong. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Well worth getting it included in your price. Private valet comes out of your security deposit which made it hassle free. Dos Bocas was a cute Tex mex restaurant inside the hotel and the employees were extremely friendly. I highly recommend Johnny Rockets around the corner as well. Walking distance to Olympic Park. I can’t wait to come back! Thank you for making my family and i stay comfortable while having a blast!!

The indoor pool was very strong smelling chemical wise and the pac man game didn’t work but that wasn’t a big deal. I have no complaints!

Loved how safe it was in downtown. You had to use your key to even get to the front desk after hours, which made sure Noone not registered was gonna walk in .

You have to pay for everything, parking regardless if you use valet $50 a day ,or yourself $40 a day . Breakfast was a little restaurant on another floor or you have to walk around the block to get a bite ...they do have deli stuff in the lobby which is double the price ...but other than that .great ...we figured we could park ,Breakfast be included not really go back out ..not the case

Love that it's just across the street from the aquarium which was the purpose of our visit. The rooms were very nice, the staff was all super friendly, and we loved being within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do while we were in Atlanta.

Really the only thing that we didn't love was the size of the indoor pool, it's very small in comparison to the outdoor one and only went to 4ft deep. It became very crowded very quickly due to the storm that came in. But other than that the pools were very nice.

The location was perfect. It is very walkable for downtown Atlanta. We were able to walk all over. We parked our car and we didn't have to move it at all for the duration of our trip which was great. We came to Atlanta for a concert at the State Farm arena, and it's less than a 10-minute walk. For the most part, the hotel was very clean and the staff we interacted with was nice. If you are coming to visit the aquarium, stay in this hotel because we could literally see it from our window. The beds were comfortable enough, and the rooms were very clean, if a little dated.

Parking was too expensive! For a parking deck that smells like pee on every level. Also the AC unit in the room was extremely LOUD. It sounded like a train was driving through the room, and it woke us up during the night every time it came on. Finally we got up and just turned it off, so the room did get a little bit toasty at times. However, we only stayed in the room to sleep and shower so for the most part it was okay.

Excellent 1 night stay - I arrived early from a flight and my room wasn't ready but the lovely receptionist managed to find me a better room which was ready so checked in straight away. Pool/gym facilities were great and quite quiet when I was there (October). I had the King room with whirlpool which was excellent, had great views of the city and was on the same floor as the pool so very convenient. Complimentary water and towels for the facilities too. Hot tub was excellent, especially on the slightly colder day. Breakfast was excellent although for the high room price it would have been nice if this had been included but still worth paying for.

Overall excellent stay - room price is a bit high but similar to comparable hotels in the area with decent facilities so its probably the area that is expensive rather than just the hotel. And obviously the £ to $ rate is terrible at the moment so that doesn't help.

It was very clean and smelled great! The staff was friendly. The breakfast was better than expected. The shower pressure was excellent along with the full size complimentary products. The hot tub was great! Hotel is within walking distance to the big attractions!

My room floor was wet for some reason. The staff didn’t offer a discount or to change rooms. The staff wasn’t upfront with the parking that I needed to bring my parking ticket in to pay nor that I had to leave by 3pm or an extra fee. There weren’t a lot of food options around but no fault to the hotel but the prices at the market was to much. The pool inside was small.

Excellent location, smack in the middle of downtown. The Georgia Aquarium and the Coca-Cola Experience are really next door. The Trolley tour stops in front of the hotel (and it's an absolute MUST to do; preferably as first part of your visit, because you get a lot of valuable tips what to visit in Atlanta).

Breakfast is a bit basic, but nevertheless well prepared and -served. (Strange that they offer a 'choice' of formulas for your breakfast, while there is basically almost no choice in the offering).

The location was perfect. We came to Atlanta to go to the Georgia Aquarium so being able to walk there was awesome. The staff was friendly and helpful. The valet parking was a great perk also. Overall great experience and will recommend them to anyone who asks.

We liked everything about the hotel. We really have no negative feedback at all! My only negative thing from the entire trip is the traffic! Being a "country girl," I just wasn't ready for it!
