Hyatt Place Atlanta Downtown

Location and breakfast was good, staff we good, easy to checkin and checkout , not asking for extra deposit , overall it was good.

4 rooms Doors are closer to each others, and super bad locking system, to much noisy doors, can you imagine, for example these four room, 221-222 and 220-219 , all these four rooms doors are in 4 ft square area, if 222 came late or go out then all three will be disturb, so you cant sleep whole night, just keep listen doors noise and feeling like someone hitting your room door, This is worst part of this hotel,

Lori at the Front Desk, she was awesome! As were all the other Front Desk people and general staff! Everyday the Breakfast was fabulous, it certainly had something for everyone! The location was perfect for any downtown function! And there's a Lunch/Dinner Restaurant & Bar right next door! I needed a couple of Phillips screwdrivers to repair the retractable handle on my suitcase and the maintenance staff was very accommodating :) The rates were definitely affordable! I would highly recommend the Hyatt Place Atlanta Downtown to anyone that has to stay downtown Atlanta!

There was nothing I didn't like about the hotel and it's location!

close to lots of things. the restaurant next door was really good. lots of security. and a spacious room. I also had a special request that they immediately began working on.

I didn’t love the beds. they were a little firm for side sleepers. but that’s mostly a preference thing. and the bathroom was super tiny. we ended up not closing the door ever because it was difficult, but I could imagine that would be hard for anyone outside a very close couple.

Free shuttle and breakfast

Don't be fooled by the gritty street outside or how hard it is to find the entrance; once you arrive in this Hyatt Place, you'll find an immaculately clean hotel, comfortable rooms and warm service at the front counter.

It might take you a few seconds to figure out the entrance. If you're walking into the hotel, you'll need to walk up the car ramp. There's no sign indicating this, and the pedestrian door is locked, even though the unsecured car ramp is right next to it.

Super clean, great breakfast, nicely decorated rooms, comfortable bed, nice bathrooms, nicely decorated in general. Nice spacious room with big shower. Staff was excellent, very helpful and kind, no rude person at all. Also close to a lot of hotspots.

Water shut off for 3 hours for maintenance and there was no hot water later that night for shower, but our parking fee got refunded due to this, staff was very helpful and accommodating. The good tremendously outweighed the this hiccup.

The staff was absolutely outstanding!! Very helpful and had the answer to any questions you may need getting around Atlanta. Breakfast was good, it was easy to navigate the hotel, and room keeping does a great job. Thanks Hyatt place.

It's expected when you visit a big city, It's right next to a park area that you cannot get by without 1-3 people asking for money. Not the hotels fault but definitely very off putting walking through there.

This hotel is a decent option if you need to stay in the area. The shuttle they offer is a nice perk and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The free breakfast is a little sad, berries were often mushy, savory items were underseasoned, not many options in general. I felt like simple changes could make it much better.

Beautiful place and clean rooms. 5 star breakfast which includes TURKEY SAUSAGE was a plus. Location is great and minutes from all the attractions. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

I didn't like the eggs for breakfast. Too scrambled and did not like the taste. I also didn't like the blanket on the bed, too crunchy and not soft.

location was very central for our needs. We enjoyed restaurants in the area and did an Atlanta bus tour which was great and the pick up/drop off location was very close to the hotel Room was very comfortable

When we turned the heat up the vent was very loud so I didn't sleep the 1st night. We figured out how to turn the fan off and it was much quieter the following night.
