Morgan and Virginia were the definition of hospitality. They were so sweet and helpful. Morgan was very personable. It felt like i was catching up with an old friend. I loved that the cabin was secluded yet close to the other resort functions. It felt like my own private sanctuary. The dinner was excellent. For my birthday, the dinner staff surprised me with a song and dessert. The prior week was stressful but but the one day I stayed here overshadowed that. I will absolutely be back.

I wish I stayed longer. No complaints

From the moment we checked in Rachel was very friendly and accommodating…she made us feel that we had made a great decision coming to stay at your resort… She told us about your restaurants and we were very very pleased with the quality of the meals…I loved the coffee rubbed pork chop I had for dinner one evening! Can’t wait to come back and have it again!

Our room was spacious and clean but I felt the carpet and tile definitely need to be updated to possibly wood plank flooring with area rugs and some slate or stone tiles to in the shower area to give it a more country cabin feeling, also I had to bring a small table in from the balcony to sit between the chairs provided to accommodate our cocktails while we watched television… also a larger refrigerator would be nice…

We loved our cabin and staff and meals and the pool. Breakfast buffet was great and ordering off the menu for dinner exceeded all expectations. Our only negative was the house dog who harassed our dogs every time we went somewhere. It’s owner kept calling him a “dog whisperer” to suggest he understood all other dogs, but we did not find that to be the case.

Tua, the house dog. He’s an unneutered year old male acting just like you would expect. He harrassed both our female and male dog. Took the fun out of some of our activities. Would not go back with a pet.

Staff is super friendly, cheerful and helpful, the place is beautiful and well cared for. So peaceful here. We attended the chuckwagon dinner and it was a blast! Breakfast was awesome. Got a kick out of the cats everywhere. Our accommodations were huge and amazing. Those balconies! Just perfect 🥰

There was a group of young people partying in the parking lot from midnight to 3.am. playing charades, yelling. (We were in Mountain Laurel Inn) I know we could have called but the phone was downstairs and we kept hoping it would stop. The beds were like slabs of concrete. But other than that the place is perfect 😁

Breakfast was great!Love that it was included. Good value! Privacy was wonderful.

More info about downtown dalongna would have been good. The last day we finally visited as it was close and very charming. We would have visited town earlier had we realized the awesome restaurants and shops there. It may have been an oversight of ours but nonetheless charming little town. We are happy we did visit there before returning home!

Breakfast was included with our stay , we payed for dinner and it was worth every penny the lobster& butter sauce was so gud…… desserts OMG ….everything look and taste GREAT

Our disappointment had nothing to do with the resort…. It rained for our stay so we weren’t able to enjoy the fire pits and out outdoor activities….

The location was great. It was close to Universal and restaurants.

The "to go" breakfast is less than desirable. I was expecting at least eggs, bagels, or waffles but instead got a tiny muffin, a granola bar, apple, and a yogurt in a brown paper bag. The La Quinta in Cleveland TN, that we stayed at last week had eggs, sausage, a large muffin, apple sauce and was in a styrofoam take home container and placed in a plastic to go bag. I expected at least the same.

It is a little piece of PARADISE! Ask for 1st floor, as no elevator! Large bedrooms with great showers! We even had an outdoor patio off our room. Peaceful hiking, beautiful landscapes, and flowers are everywhere! Breakfast was delicious and you get it all! Wineries and Waterfalls are close by! Wonderful large lounge with full size refrigerator, microwave and coffee and fireplace..large porch with firepit at every lodge...what a place for a family vacation! Perfect girlfriends trip!

2nd floor..no elevator..I am OLD!

The landscaping/grounds were fantastic. So happy everything was in bloom. Levi was so awesome. I didn't get the name of his co-worker but they could be models for some of the other employees. Suzanne? (front desk) also. Some employees just lacked enthusiasm or personality. It is important to make guest feel welcome and cared for on a personal level. And not hard to do. I did not need any of that, but observed on more than one occasion. I just wanted to be alone, other than my massage, which was awesome. The massage therapist (Laverne ?) was highly skilled and passionate about her work.

It was really fantastic! The rooms and cabins are somewhat dated, but charming and well equipped. There was not anything I didn't like.

The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. We felt like family after only 3 days. We didn't want to leave. The owner and chef helped us upon arrival when we couldn't get our tow vehicle detached and had gotten stuck. After a long road trip that was exactly what we needed. For hikers: Very close to where you enter the beginning of the AT. Beautiful falls at entry point. The chef and staff at the restaurant are amazing. Food is delicious. Atmosphere is to die for. We saw such happy groups and couples and families. If you want a jacuzzi in your room, make sure you ask for the right rooms. The suites are phenomenal. The horse facilities and staff are super friendly and professional. Horses of different sizes so they're great for kids to large adults. We saw multiple weddings there. Very pretty. Very romantic. Everything to make a bride feel like a queen. I'd recommend Forrest Hills to anyone and everyone!

For RVers: take 52 to get there. It's much easier on big rigs.
