Super 8 by Wyndham Forsyth

Close to interstate. Short distance away from strip of every restaurant chain. Clean. Staff was very pleasant. Cheapest room I could get and did have brfst, though only milk and 3 cold cereals, instant grits and oatmeal, bulk package cinnamon swirls. Coffee was good, juice machine was not blending right so they posted out of order sign and were going to get service man contacted. Simple brfst was adequate for me and included. Didnt feel unsafe there. Area had mid size town feel. Great value for a place to sleep to split FL trip drive coming from North. Would stay there again. Again dated but It was clean. Liked the hard floor instead of carpet. Mattress was comfortable and pillows were great! They actually offer to sell pillows and considered. Liked the towels also.

Room was closest room to interstate and did get and a bit of road noise but kept A/C on and fan constant so didn't bother sleep at all. Compressor kicking off and on was a little load but again not a bother to sleep. Metal bed base did make a little squack sound when getting out of bed. Dated facility , but are updating some.

This is a great value. Convenient to the interstate with a great grocery store across the street.

I travel with my own down pillow with a allergy-protector. I accidentally picked up the inexpensive polyester-filled motel pillow and left my expensive pillow when we left. I didn't realize it until we were too far to turn back, and I was charged $25 dollars extra for the cheap pillow. Bummer in every way

Friendly, helpful staff. Recent fixture upgrades in room. Tidy bathroom and sink area. Interior of room was generally better than a typical Super 8. Very generous parking lot with great lighting and several large-vehicle spots.

Hallway door to outside was open for ventilation (I think they're still doing some remodeling) so the hall was warm and muggy.

I like the convenience and the location. The hotel was quite and the staff was awesome. The location was great for my job and I will be a guest in the near future. I would highly recommend my employee book all future staff to stay there.

The refrigerator wasn't cold enough and the freezer didn't freeze well. The microwave was a bit small but otherwise okay

When we pulled in it looked just like your basic Super 8 hotel. I must say when we entered our room it was Super Clean and the Bed was so Comfortable!!! I walked around barefoot my feet remained clean!!! That’s impressive!

They didn't have breakfast, think they are carrying covid a little too far just to probably save money. They had coffee and juice. Nothing else.

If they advertise breakfast they should have it, or at least something to eat, or take it off of the ad. Staff was extremely nice.

The best part of my stay was the woman who checked me in. Unfortunately, I did not get her name. But she was working when I checked in around 11pm on January 2. She was super friendly (not something often experience with super late-night check-ins), very understanding when I asked her to repeat herself (masks sometimes make it harder for me to understand what people are saying), and gave me several recommendations (and directions) for food in the area after she found out I hadn't eaten dinner yet and would be leaving early in the morning. Because I was traveling with my dog, she gave me a room on the ground floor. I was so grateful for this as it made it easier to take my dog out when he needed it. I loved the giant field outside my door (between the hotel and Waffle House).

The only thing I didn't like is I didn't see any outdoor garbage bins. I had to throw my dogs waste away in the trash in my room.

The clerk was very helpful when we checked in, giving us a map with local restaurants and telling us how to get to the one we chose. He was also helpful at breakfast, noticing that there was only one sweet roll in the basket and getting us another one.

Everything was fine.

Air was off before we got to the room so it was extremely hot in the room. It took awhile before it cooled down enough to sleep. Since we had been on the road all day we were exhausted. The price was higher then the hotel across the road that was sold out.

This hotel was right off the highway so we were able to get off, sleep then continue driving without having to worry about getting back to the highway. Very fast check in. Very polite staffing. Will be staying again!
