La Quinta by Wyndham Macon

The front desk clerk was super nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The location was awesome for everything from fast food to dine in restaurants to grocery stores.

As we were checking in I noticed that they had a miniature “store” and my fiancé grabbed us both a drink. The front desk clerk offered to “put it on the room” and my card would just be billed Once at checkout. Then proceeded to bill me $14 for a bottle coke. Bottle water. Snickers bar. And one of those tiny 10 cent combs my grandfather used to carry. And did so at like 3am. So my card was billed twice. I can’t fault anyone but myself for not asking the price of the items. But overall the stay was enjoyable

I loved that even though it was a weekend, it was so quiet a peaceful. I needed the relaxation and quiet time. The bed was amazing, wifi was perfect connectivity. The staff were wonderful and extremely helpful. Housekeeping is amazing there. So respectful and timely. 100% love this establishment.

The TV had issues with turning itself on/off. But since I don't watch it much, the wifi was more than enough to make up for it. The room was also missing a mini fridge.

The room was a very nice size and the pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was also a very nice size. The television was working and a nice size.

The bed was way too low to the floor for a handicapped-accessible room. It was like you were laying on the floor on an air mattress instead of a bed. The door had a huge dent in the outside and was hard to open. The ceiling near the air vent in the ceiling was molded with green mold. The outlet near the bed did not work, The microwave and fridge were very outdated.

The way the room was shaped and clean.

I could hear everybody and their pets and it smelled like animal on first floor. And you need to cut the alarms in the mornings as people do go out all of the exits and it wakes people Up. The point is to sleep in the am. You cleaning later came and woke us up at 9:30 and said she thought we were gone already. Didn’t understand that one .

Hotel staff was AMAZING!!! Hotel was very clean and breakfast was delicious. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable beds and quiet. Imani checked us in she was very nice and helpful. I just had surgery, my son is Autistic and my mom is disabled so Tea helped us with everything he is a very kind, outgoing and amazing young man that went above and beyond for us. Anastasia checked us out she was very kind and courteous. I will definitely will stay here again!

The rooms, location, and staff.

We asked for a lower level room near the entrance because we had my 81 year old mother with us who has gait difficulty, and it did not happen. We asked to add another day and was charged almost $200 to change our checkout day, we were already staying 3 days . I think that was a little excessive.

Friendly staff. Clean rooms with lots of space and comfortable. Breakfast was on point as well.

Wish website had stated the pool was unavailable. It has been a hot summer and we looked forward to enjoying the beautiful pool that we saw online. Hotel keys did not work on ANY outside doors, not only was this a nuisance it was also a HUGE safety hazard! Icemakers down as well.

Loved the new look of the place. Been stopping overnight for 3 years, big rooms, quiet. Most comfortable.

Think when they continue their remodeling. Changed out the carpets in the room and put down laminate, so much easier to clean. Dislike getting out of bed and having to step on old carpet.

The staff was very friendly, for the most part the room looked very clean. They serve breakfast but you have to get there on time lol. It was a nice visit.

I didn't like the fact that a family with kids was above our room because they didn't make the kids sit down.

After a long day of driving it was a very welcome sight. Very clean and quiet. If I remember correctly there are a couple of restaurants within walking distance. We walked to a Sports Bar type place and it was pretty good.

No complaints. The staff was really nice.
