Candlewood Suites Atlanta West I-20, an IHG Hotel

Two queen beds with a kitchen was just what we needed for our month long stay. Laundry and gym on the ground floor made the stay very comfortable. Safety, privacy and comfort...10/10

Sometimes tiny cockroaches would be seen in the gaps of the kitchen counter top. They sent the pest control but they are doing a superficial job. Housekeeping is once a week. That too isn't done properly. WC and bathtub was not cleaned. Only the bathroom floor was cleaned. But atleast they provide the cleaning supplies so I cleaned it myself. Vacuum cleaner is also available. Overall management needs to pay more attention to the staff responsible for cleaning and hygiene.

The room was nice and comfortable. Enjoyed the shower, kitchenette, laundry & workout room. With us being on the end of the hall, we had easy access in and out the hotel. A great spot to enjoy while waiting to close on our new home.🙂

The ceiling was not properly painted, when you look up you can see the repairs. I was told there was an oven but its a microwave and electric burner timed every 15 minutes.

Location is perfect, close to the highway. Suite was spacious, clean, and efficient. Wish the TVs were smart tv’s for streaming but cable worked just fine. Shelby was a total sweetheart!

Walls are pretty thin, the stairwell and whomever was above us sounded like they were in a WWE cage match

There was a tornado warning given for the area. The front desk didn’t have a problem extending my checkout time until after the warning has changed passed. They also gave me a list of emergency exits and where the safest place to be in my room. My room was spacious and had a full kitchen. Enjoyed only having a shower in my room. The decor was very nice.

The only thing I didn’t like was that the people on my floor and the one above kept slamming there room doors. Other than that my stay was very pleased. Will definitely book there again.

Was clean conveniently located most of the staff was friendly

We really wanted the pool was the reason we chose this hotel but when we arrived it was not working wasn’t the hotels fault but was still disappointing to the kids

only complaint was first knock on door at 7:30 am for maid service. 2nd knock around 9 am for maid service. We were checking out and check out was not til 11 am so the 7:30 knock waking us up was not pleasant,then again at 9.. 30 minutes before our alarms were set..

I’ve been using Candlewood suites for a long time now because it’s always my go to. They won me over with their affordable prices, nice clean rooms, and I love the kitchenette. This particular hotel even had a section where you can borrow electronics and games. Also did I mention the manager Bonnie left us a little note welcoming us and some money coupons to use at their mini store in the lobby. Candlewood Suites never fail me. I highly recommend. The area where this particular hotel has a ton of restaurants and stores. We enjoyed our stay.

A free breakfast would have been nice, but it did have a kitchenette, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

The exact disparaging issue with this stay was the BOOKING.com experience.

Miscommunication at the beginning of the reservation led to non reserved room at arrival - what was preselected was not achieved nor available. Rack rate was paid instead of discount - and room desired could not be received.

Location was Great..

Limited parking 1 way in an out and elevator was broken and I was on the 4th floor, had late checking after a long day of officiating basketball tournament.
