Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Austell Powder Springs, an IHG Hotel

First of all, I love holiday inn express hotels. I always try to find one wherever we go. I chose this particular hotel because we were going to six flags and Atlanta, but we wanted to stay away from the hustle bustle. This location turned out to be perfect! It was so quiet, it seemed like hardly anyone there besides us. The breakfast was AMAZING! Holiday Inn express always has fantastic breakfasts at all locations, so no surprise there. One unique surprise was that there was a big, wide window where you could sit and eat, overlooking a creek and wooded area. Very peaceful first thing in the morning! Room was clean and very nice. Staff was very friendly and likeable. There was a zaxbys right out front of the hotel that you could walk to. We had dinner there one night lol. It was a fun stay!

There's only one thing... The pool was not very inviting. We were looking forward to swimming... But when we saw the pool, we were like "eww..." lol so we never did...

The breakfast was great and the staff super friendly. The facility was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely accommodating, and willing to assist with every request. Totally recommend this property!!

I don't have a "didn't like" for this stay. Can't say enough good things about the staff.

The soft pillows, comfortable bed, the included breakfast-the cinnamon rolls are a MUST.

My only complaint is the value- the price for the room was just TOO much. I'm sure it's a reflection of life in general plus the holiday weekend but almost $300 for a room at the Holiday Inn is a bit much.

The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very polite. Not one time were they rude. If we needed something, they didn't hesitate go get it. We loved how clean the facility and our room was. Definitely will be using your hotel again on our next vacation there.

We loved everything about staying there, except the toilet paper, it fell apart in your hands. Also the stomping of other guests at 11:30 at night. There should be a be quiet time because it's so disrespectful to the other guests who are trying to sleep, but can't due to someone stomping.

The property was very quiet and clean. Breakfast was very good and fresh.

The card reader declined the credit card on file, so i used my debit card, but it wound up charging both cards. The credit card transactions went through twice and had to be canceled.

I did like the welcome that I received upon checking in. Even though they were very busy. Checking in was quick. We were recognized every time we came through the lobby. And our one question was professionally answered, and quickly followed up to make sure we solved our problem. Small issue with the TV. Checking out was just as smooth. I would stay again.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. Unless I nick picked on purpose, because you have to pay what they're asking.

Breakfast was excellent and this was the cleanest place I have ever stayed! The room was spotless. The tub was impeccably clean. The bed was cozy and had plenty of pillows and the staff was impeccable! All super nice and professional. The front desk was exceptional and made us feel like celebrities really. I couldn’t find one thing to complain about at this hotel. A++++++++++

Loved the front desk team!!!! Professional and accommodating! Very pleasant…always had a smile and warm greeting waiting for each guest!!

The breakfast was more than adequate for the weekend we stayed. The checkout was super simple which I appreciated because I was pressed for time on checkout day.

Trouble getting the correct room and then actually being able to enter the room when it got straightened out.

Room was very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful - after a long driver they allowed us to check in early. The Dove products in the bathroom was a pleasant surprise.

Noise throughout Saturday night made sleeping difficult.
