Hampton Inn Locust Grove

Breakfast was good.

We called Hotel to ask for a late check in. Hotel did not have my name in the system. I provided hotel with booking.com confirmation number.....hotel still could not find my reservation. Fortunately I was able to book a room because they had availability....had to pay the hotel when I checked in. This was very upsetting. I have never had any issue with booking.com. Would hope thatbooking.com did not charge me for this room. Would appreciate to have someone from booking.com customer support team to contact me at 703-350-5689 to discuss.

The bed was very comfortable. The hot breakfast was a blast 😋 and the room was quiet.

The chairs in the room was dirty and looked old and run down.The carpet was also dirty.. There was an area in the shower that was missing a tile/finish.

I have stayed here several times over the last few years. It is a pretty decent hotel and a good location.

Not a lot of optio s for a nice sit down restaurant. It does have a nice Japanese hibatchi restaurant within walking distance, reasonably priced and you will NOT go away hungry.

Cost of room was charged to my credit card correctly but the same charge PLUS a $25 charge for incidentals remained on my credit card as PENDING for over three weeks. Once the actual charge hits my credit card the PENDING charge should go away. Only other comment would be for a relatively new property the facility showed signs of wear/neglect.

Friendly staff. Especially the woman who worked the breakfast area. It was extremely busy and she remained cheerful and kept the food replenished

Breakfast area very cold, no blocking the cold weather that came in the sliding doors in the adjacent lobby.

Breakfast was a down-point...the foldover egg things are lame...not hot, and tasteless--we're not sure how to remedy the situation in a Covid world but improving breakfast would go a long way in encouraging us to stay again...not just your Hampton but we found the foldover egg things throughout the southeast states and midwest as well. Otherwise, everything was very nice...

The room was very clean. Comfortable beds. We only stayed one night so the size of the room was good. Friendly staff.

That there was only one staff person on the property in the evening (around 8pm) - the hair dryer in our room was broken and the front desk lady wasn’t allowed to leave the front desk to find one for me. Not a big deal in the long run of course. But sometimes the small things make a big difference. There are signs everywhere about masks being mandatory, yet not even all employees were wearing them. Most guests weren’t either.

Staff was nice and friendly. Outside and lobby were very clean. Breakfast was limited but just fine. Room was nice and big. Clorox

Bathroom shower had filth in the shower tracks. Dead bug and place to out soap was dirty. I did not feel. Clean. Floor was also so dirty in the bathroom I cleaned it around the toilet and shower with Clorox wipes. Ick. They were black.

The facility was very clean and the staff was so very friendly. We were looking for something on our way to FL from IN to break our trip. The breakfast was very good. We were surprised at all of the conveniences on site as well.

The room looked clean and the mattress was good. The staff was very friendly and nice.

We were given a handy cap room, why I don't know.,so the shower was weird. The room could of used a few repairs, missing tile in the bathroom. The breakfast staff person was on vacation so we got to go bags. For the price I think water, apple and granola bar doesn't work.
