Holiday Inn Macon North, an IHG Hotel

Hotel is beautifully renovated in the lobby, with good amenities and large rooms. Our room was very clean, which is always a plus. The front desk staff were wonderful and very accommodating (I needed linens for the pull out bed in our room and it was very late when we arrived, but they had fresh linens ready still warm from the dryer). Check in and check out we’re simple, fast, and convenient. The hotel grounds are wonderfully maintained and we appreciated having access to a breakfast bar that was consistently refilled and hot!

While our room was very large, clean, and comfortable, it did have a strong odor, especially in the “sitting” area. At some point, it had either flooded or they had serious issues with water, as the floors and ceiling still have noticeable damage even though it looks like a repair was attempted. The AC was very loud but did keep the room noticeably cool. The lobby was extremely humid as well, so it may just be a seasonal issue since it’s summer in the south!

I personally did not get to enjoy the breakfast i had to leave for some errands but my freind had it and said that it was great. everything was flavorful and warm the staff was exceptional and professional they made sure everyone was full and happy

The parking could have been better the entire parking lot was packed out and i jad to walk from across the street it was a long walk but if i had luggage it would have felt much longer I dont have anything else to complain about the hotel it was over all just a great experience

The room we were given was very nice but there was no remote for the tv. we asked the desk about it and we were given a replacement only to find out the tv didn’t work. We are old-ish so we aren’t interested in swim pools or exercise rooms but we are world class at tv viewing. Abby at the front desk changed out our room in record time. We didn’t miss a single show.

They had phenomenal breakfast choices in the morning. The room was clean and we loved the Dove soaps/lotion that they provide in the room. I would recommend this hotel as it is right off of I-75 and affordable.

Everyone was so helpful and nice. Surprisingly there is a little bar and grill downstairs! I ordered and took it to my room.. and sat at the bar and had a drink while I waited for my food. It was excellent! Perfect for a long day of driving. Very friendly staff, too! Room was clean. Very clean. Felt safe.

My blow dryer in the room blew up! Sparks and smoke. I called the front desk for a replacement. The guy sounded half asleep and said he didn’t think they had spare blow dryers, but would look. I waited about 20 Min and called back. He sounded put out. I was just calling to say never mind I had to get on the road. I would have been really mad if I had to be put together for something.. but was just driving home. .. with wet hair. By the time I was checking out the sweet girl who checked me in the previous day was there. She apologized that it was not rectified and wrote a note to the proper people. Lesson learned. First time I did not bring my own... last too.

Location is clean and close to lots of food choices. The beds were comfortable and the showers were a great size!

There was no staff at the front desk at check in. I literally waited more than 10 min for someone to show up. I even called the front desk from my cell phone and the number just rang and no one answered it. I understand there may have been a staffing issue that day.

The breakfast was very good and tasty.And the location was great, only a few miles from the coliseum.

My room was very cold and we had to call the front desk to come up to adjust the temperature.when we got back the room was still cold,but the front desk put us in another room.

I loved everything. The staff was amazing and very kind. The breakfast was wonderful as well. Wish there was airport transportation though. That's okay. Was worth the UBER

I wish the rooms was bigger and there had been a sink near the coffee pot. There were green spots in the pool. The workout equipment may need to be updated as well.

Really liked the bar and restaurant. The bartender William and the young lady (Tiara) at the front desk made our stay so nice and comfortable.
