Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta/Marietta

My experience was a little unique for me. When I was booking my stay I couldn't decide if I wasnted to stay Sunday night or not, I ended up not book my stay for the extra night. In my mind when I got there, I kept telling myself I had booked the extra night. Sunday rolled around and I got an email about how did I enjoy my stay. I brushed it off until I checked my reservation and I did not book the extra night. I immediately called and the front desk staff was great, they contacted housekeeping and they gathered all my belongings and had them at the front desk when I arrived later in the day.

Our room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Since Covid we are just starting to get back into traveling. We were very pleased with our room and stay. We were in town to see a couple of Braves games. The hotel is close to Truist Park and easily accessible.

our room wasn’t ready when we arrived. One of the staff members didn’t handle our arrival with the right attitude. I asked why the room wasn’t ready he said that was house keeping problem. Other than that the stay was comfortable!!

We were there 3 nights and each morning there were different featured hot items as part of the breakfast.! Much appreciated! But… (see frowny face). It was a very pleasant place. Our room was large attractive and comfortable. Our visit was a month ago and one of more than a dozen inns we stayed at over 25 days, but I seem to recall that this was one of 3 or 4 that had an extra little sink outside of the bathroom, which itself had a large sink with pots of counter top. Very much appreciated!!

....But over the 3 mornings we had breakfast here, there were a total of 2 actual pieces of fruit available. Totally unacceptable. And a minor thing, the modern looking chairs in the the lobby and our room we're not at all comfortable (though this does not apply to the seating in the spacious breakfast foom).

Chocolate waffles and whip cream was awesome. My room smell so good when I walked in it. The bed, pillows and everything was comfortable. What we went for everything was close by.

When I checked in it didn't show I was paying thru Klarna. Somehow or someway the associate should have known I was making pymts. Check in took a while.

I loved all of the ladies serving breakfast, especially Penny, Kim and Helen! They took amazingly good care of us and served up a delicious breakfast every morning. All of the employees seemed happy and they enjoyed their jobs. The property was nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay and we will be back sometime soon.

There was a hiccup at check-in due to an extra damage deposit charge not taken into account when booking with booking.com. when added, our "voucher" was no longer valid and the hotel tried to charge me again for the total amount. Luckly, there was someone at the front desk who could figure that out.

The property was east to get to. We were in town for a Braves game and it was easy to get to and from park. the property was clean and nice! Staff was helpful and nice!

The property itself was great, but the issues we had were with booking.com and how they didn’t work with the property to get the accommodation secured.
