Travelodge by Wyndham Perry GA

We needed to be close to the fairground. 8-10 minutes walk. Loved the pool as it was so hot. Staff were friendly and professional. Beds were comfortable. Cheap washer and dryer and we appreciated the complimentary laundry liquid. Cracker barrel and waffle house right next door. Plenty of parking. Price reflected the property and facilities. We stayed 9 days.

The cleaner would just come into our room at 8.10am even though he could see we were all asleep. Even with the do not disturb sometimes he would still come in. The room got a bit damp but it was so hot we needed the air con on. Once we turned it off during the day and opened the window it made a huge difference. Breakfast staff would start locking things up at 8.30am. The manager, Andy sorted that out and he was great. Teeny tiny pool towels. Breakfast was FINE but basic

Our room was quiet, comfortable and exceptionally clean. The staff was very friendly, very helpful and made our check in and check out process very smooth. We had to call the following day because we thought we had left a phone charger behind in the room. The staff didn't just look in a lost-and-found drawer; they actually went up to the room personally to check for our item.

If we had to find anything to improve it would be the breakfast selection. The breakfast was served in a spotless room and the items were kept well stocked. The only change might be to add a few more items. However, we didn't go hungry and enjoyed what we had. The coffee is very good.

Clean, friendly and helpful staff.

No elevator, but not a huge deal. For some reason, house keeping came in at 7:40am, when me, my wife, and 2.5 yr old were sleeping, waking my 2.5 year, throwing off our whole morning before a 3.5 hour drive up the mountains. When they saw we were there, there were very polite, but that shouldn’t have happened. Maybe make sure there are Do Not Disturb signs to be put on the door? I may have missed it, but I didn’t see one to use to notify the staff not to come in. Definitely didn’t expect it before 8.

The room was great

I needed to get in the room before 2pm. I tried to get in about noon, so I could rest a little and prepare for the meeting that day, but the staff would not cooperate. Also, I had booked the room through booking.com a few days earlier, but the day before I was to arrive, the motel did not have a reservation. It left me stranded. I was finally able to get it resolved. Don't book this location through a booking service, do it directly.

The hotel was in a good location. It was about 15 minutes of a drive from Warner Robins, GA where I was attending a conference. The woman at the front desk was super kind when I arrived around 1130pm.

There were two main things that I did not like. The first thing is that when I entered the room, there was some sort of weird smell in the air. I couldn't exactly tell what it was, but it just did not smell great in the room. The second thing is that the lights in the room were all white fluorescent lights... I was hoping there would be soft white/yellow lights for me to relax and get some work done. I ended up just going right to bed because the white lights were very bright and I felt like I was in an office and not in a bedroom.

The staff was very attentive. Every aspect of the hotel was wonderful which was a nice change from several other places we had stayed over the last year. This hotel staff seemed to really care about showing the customer how proud they were of their hotel..we will definitely stay there again!

Just an elevator..I do prefer an upper floor but due to a knee issue couldn't navigate the stairs. The only reason I usually want an upper floor is because it is usually quieter but in this case our first floor was just as quiet .

Clean, smelled nice in the bed was very comfortable.

I didn't like that the person working the free breakfast didn't want to let us have anything. I understand that we were a few minutes late or past the 9:00 a.m. limit, however she was just starting to pack up. Luckily the owner or the manager on staff just so happened to walk in and said to let us have something; so we did get to have a bite to eat.

Comfortable bed. Clean bathroom.

Lights in room were blinding, we saw two roaches. Please don't have the housekeeping person bang on the door so early. Breakfast was not that great. Cereal but no milk, dinky muffins, a some yogurt but that's about it.

Once again I am overly impressed with the staff at this Wyndham TravelLodge in Perry Georgia. The staff called me the day before to personally get my preference as far as what floor I wanted to stay on. Not only were they professional and courteous, they went above and beyond to make my stay there mean more than just a simple transaction. I haven’t received service better than that at any hotel I’ve stayed at in my life. Just goes to show that doing little things can make a huge difference, and I can’t say enough how impressed I am. Thank you and I will be staying at your hotel every time I am in the area!

I can’t think of anything I don’t like about the property. They have recently renovated some of the rooms and my room was one that was renovated and it looked great!
