Motel 6-Idaho Falls, ID - Snake River

A friend and I spent one night in this hotel. It was the cheapest in the area by quite a bite, but still met all our needs. Check-in was quick. The room was fine. We visited this hotel two years earlier and there was no shampoo in the room, you had to purchase it out of a vending machine. This time there was still no shampoo in the room, but when I asked for change at the front desk they provided the shampoo for free. A minor thing, but still seems odd shampoo isn't in the room.

It's almost insignificant, but no shampoo in the room seems odd. Ultimately our stay was short, and there isn't anything I remember that I would change.

The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was easily accessible for me with my mobility issues. And the staff helped me with the luggage! It was the first (and turned out to be the only) place where staff OFFERED TO HELP. I was truly grateful. Shane was a godsend.

It was a little difficult to find the motel. The signs from the highway were good, but only directed us so far. Once we were into the warren of streets nearby, we were lost. There is no sign tall enough to spot along the road, no sign telling us which way to go among the streets back in there. But we stuck with it and eventually found that we had to turn opposite the bar/casino.

The room was clean and the property is maintained well. The other guests at the hotel were primarily families that were traveling with pets. The hotel is away from the main streets in Idaho Falls and very quiet. There are two large pieces of grass on the property for dog walking.

My only complaint is that you need to drive a very short distance to get to a store or restaurant. It's a Motel 6, so it's basic, but not a luxury resort.

We arrived after a very stressful day related to mechanical issues with our vehicle & ended up renting another vehicle to tow it. Upon arrival we were greeted by Shane…who in my/our opinion was amazing! His offers of help on every level were some of the most kind we’ve ever experienced while road tripping. He offered to help move some of our stuff and let us know he’d do whatever was needed. Thank you is not enough , we truly appreciated the kindness. The added bonus of a Motel 6 with a fridge & microwave were unexpected. Plus there was coffee, tea, hot chocolate in the a.m. ,again unexpected. It was quiet too …

Not really a dislike as we had our food, but for some it may be a complaint, nothing nearby, but Dominos did deliver if needed,& that info was in the room.

The lobby was much nicer than any Motel 6 I’ve been to. Most of the Motel 6 rooms I’ve stayed in have damaged or nonfunctioning furnishings which is why I stopped staying there. I thought I’d give the brand another chance, and if they all operated like this one, they’d be respectable. The room was basic, but everything worked and looked nice. I just needed a place to take a quick rest before driving back to Salt Lake, so I didn’t want to pay for vacation quality. This fit the bill. Wouldn’t be a bad choice even if you’re on a budget vacation, just see if you can get a room with a fridge and microwave as this didn’t have those.

The room was exceptionally clean, well kept up, staff was friendly and made you feel at home. This is the best and most beautiful motel 6 I stayed at!

One night a room was loud and obnoxious past 2:00 a.m. I got very little sleep. Spoke with management. They moved me to a quieter room. I was so grateful for a good night's sleep!

Very clean and well-maintained. When we arrived we thought it was pretty new. They have updated things well. Convenient location. Very quiet room— even with the freeway close to our window. Great soundproofing.

I had hoped it would have easier access to walk to the Greenbelt. It was actually just past the end of the Greenbelt, and walking there would require walking on a street with no sidewalks or shoulder. That said, it was very convenient to drive to the Greenbelt, the falls and downtown.

The room was comfortable & the bathroom was a nice size. The area surrounding the motel was walkable with our dog. The security and lights outside was good and was not worried about our vehicle. Grounds were fairly clean from garbage and poo.

The coffee cups provided are too small to enjoy a cup of morning coffee. Staff could be a bit more pleasant when answering our questions or concerns.

beds were comfortable, room was very clean. The handicap facilities were great. The rooms were quiet. Parking was access more than acceptable. When the key would not open the door, the desk clerk was right there to help. Thanks for everything!!

Comfort, cleanliness and value for cost were great. Olivia at reception was very kind and helpful. The bonus of having a laundry room was very much appreciated. We would definitely stay at your Motel-6 again!

Appreciated the hot beverages in the morning but thought there would be some food provided.
