Sleep Inn & Suites Idaho Falls Gateway to Yellowstone

Loved the room, bed, shower, temp control, clean and on grd level. Loved coffee and tea at night.

Didn't realize how close we were to the pool- right beside. Would ask for a room away from pool and gym next time. One door down would have been perfect. We chose not to complain as the family using the pool were letting their kids unwind before bed. I'm sure we all slept soundly after that ...lol.

During our 9 day stay the property was clean, easy to get to the freeway and shopping. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was absolutely FANTASTIC!! Everyone was very polite and helpful. The food was hot and delicious. I recommend this place to stay to relax.

The ice maker on the first floor never worked and the phone in our room had issues as well. Both had parts ordered and had work orders in play, both easily something to work around. A little harder to work around was the phone and WiFi service.. sending work emails and text as well as phone calls made it a bit of a struggle. I did speak to providers and at the time the towers were being updated. I was offered the house WiFi but the issue was the same. I would definitely stay there again when I return.

Delicious breakfast buffet. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Air conditioner in my room made horrible noise and the manager graciously moved me to another room.

I wish there would have been some type of restaurant within easy walking distance.

Super friendly and accommodating staff. We checked in late and he retrieved a luggage cart from the second floor for us. Gave us great advice on some things to see in town in the short time we had to look around. Room was large and cool with a very comfortable bed. The hot breakfast, which included scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffles and an assortment of cereals and oatmeal was restaurant quality. We stayed in 7 different hotels during our 12 day trip and this was the best. Perhaps the best mid-priced hotel I have used in a long while.

Wish we could have stayed an extra day.

The Inn was easy to find. It is located in a nice location. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a professional, courteous, and friendly staff. The room was spacious and extremely clean with a view on some fields, the majestic mountains with snow covered caps on the horizon, beautiful pastel sunrises and out of this world sunsets. We relaxed in the Inn hot tub every night and chatted with the staff when possible. The Inn is a short distance away from the Idaho Falls Zoo, Taupthaus park, the Grand Teton Mall, the Snake River walk, restaurants, etc. It is appropriately named as it is truly the gateway to majestic and wild Yellowstone National Park.

We can't think of anything that we didn't like but we have one suggestion. With all the hybrid gas/electric cars on the road, it would be a big plus to install a charging station on site where those cars could conveniently be recharged.

Breakfast was typical powder scrambled eggs, waffle machine, bread, bagels, the usual. Cerals etc. Location was handy. right off the freeway for easy on and off. Large lot for semi's and in our case to park our camper. Place was clean, staff was great. I would stay again

The bed was comfortable, the room was well lit, the water pressure in the shower was good, the towels were very good.

Although the hotel prides itself on its cooked breakfast, the cook was not wearing a mask. This may be a region with lower transmission, but the person preparing your food should be wearing a mask, period. I had to forego the hot breakfast and settle for an extremely limited selection of wrapped items.

They had laundry facilities

We where traveling with our 6 lb dog. They say they are pet friendly but that friendliness cost an extra $50. There was nothing on their site when we booked that said it was that much. Every hotel we stayed on our trip was $15 deposit or no charge.

Front desk staff was genuinely friendly and courteous, which was a nice little bonus. Fake friendliness as a requirement for customer service is always off-putting. Room was very clean. Bed was really comfortable and we scored with an end room so it was nice and quiet.

Booked a King room and found it outfitted well and comfortable. Stayed two nights and breakfast was scrambled eggs and proteins with a waffle maker and cooler with yogurts as well as fruits and pastries. Simple standards but hot and tasty. Dining area was clean and continually wiped down. All in all a very pleasant stay.

I found the shower a little on the weak side but not problematic.
