Crowne Plaza Chicago SW - Burr Ridge, an IHG Hotel

We were able to get adjoining rooms, which was our priority. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The fitness center was pretty well equipped and open 24 hours which was nice. It was convenient to things that we needed.

Breakfast was not included in the room rate, which was disappointing. It cost $13 per person, including children so we opted to go elsewhere. There was significant road noise from the interstate.

Friendly staff and clean room - not to big so easy to find way around. Due to Booking.com error where asked fot twin room but got a double they compensated by giving us free breakfast vouchers. Swimming pool was nice but water was cold.

Not a heated swimming pool. Internet was intermittent at rooms in back of hotel.

Francisco the chef went above and beyond to ensure my son and his friends had dinner that was to their liking. And better yet, the chef personally brought out the food to us, along with our amazing bartender Daniel.

The front desk person, Jesus was EXTREMELY unknowable! When 1st checking in, we weren't able to book a time frame for the pool. He said it was booked. Then he tried to say we can go to a community center with our hotel keys to swim,but only til 6 p.m. he gave us wrong directions, and it was a rehabilitation center. The man working there was extremely confused. We had to go back to the hotel because everytime we tried to call back he left us on hold for a long period of time. When we went back, he had to search for where we actually needed to be. It was a Lifetime Fitness club and the time he gave us again was wrong. He never apologized for his lack of information we needed. Not sure how he got hired. I've been in the food and beverage industry for close to 30 years.

I booked this room for my kids, the women at the front desk had it fully cleaned for them in 20 minutes and even let us check in a bit early. The host at night made sure we were all together on the same floor with connecting rooms.

No microwave in room, couldn't eat in dining area after hours

Everyone was exceptionally nice and friendly. Breakfast was good and our room was clean. Bed was comfortable

Saturday night the pool was closed so my kids couldn’t swim but it was back open Sunday morning and the kids got to swim for an hour before we checked out at 11am

The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve had in a hotel. And the staff were all wonderful.

If I had to complain about anything the pool was freezing. My kids were definitely disappointed in that.

Softest mattress we have ever sleep on! Slept like a baby. Great tasty breakfast. Very easy and quick check in. Very clean and roomy. Great to have phone charger outlets. Plan on booking another stay here next month for more appointments. Very beautiful safe surroundings and Burr ridge is an above average suburb. Thank you Bookings.

The location

The mortar that holds the shower tile together was coming off the shower's wall at the base of the shower floor. It happened every time we showered. It was kind of gross seeing it float around while you showered.

The staff was nice, polite, and friendly.A big thank you to the staff that made my stay relaxing!! The rooms were very clean. The bed slept comfortable. The hotel rates were reasonable. The food was good, only carry out due to safety, my food was prepared the way I wanted it, thank you. The swimming pool is open.
