Sleep inn near Great lakes base, 3250 Bittersweet Avenue, 60044, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! I want to point out that this hotel is a good place to book if you're looking to stay for your son or daughter's graduation for the Navy. It is only 1.5 miles away; however traffic does get crazy so leave a little bit earlier in the morning. Amazing customer service a queen bed with a microwave, fridge, coffee (almost all day) and Also very CLEAN🤩 Oh and Dunkin donuts right in front makes for a quick coffee run before the long wait to the base. Suggest downloading the app and pre order.

The staff was friendly, the general property was clean; the continental breakfast was good, the waffles were great; the bed and pillows were very comfortable; the hotel is fully vested in the support of the Navy Graduation travelers and it is well positioned for quick access to the recruit base.

Did not see an ice machine on the third floor, so it was a pain to ride the elevator just for ice; the bathroom/shower is a little cramped, but not a deal breaker

had an odd smell in the room after husband and I showered with fan on. like a wet dog smell. not enough breakfast options. as someone who cannot have gluten, or oats, and needs almond milk as a dairy alternative, I only had a banana, apple, and tiny clementine as my options.

Staff were awesome, everything was excellently clean, and the bed was comfortable. Staff were extremely accommodating when I asked to be moved to another room. That made my stay.

The room I was placed in initially was incredibly noisy- lobby, ice machine, children running the hallways, people talking, and the elevator could all be heard. The second room I stayed in had no hot water in the shower despite the tap being hot.

Nice Staff. Comfortable Bed. Near Chicago O'hare international Airport, Gurnee Mills Mall, Six Flag Park, Foss Park with the lake shore, restaurants and other good places to go. Also is 5 mins from RTC NAVY Bootcamp, for those who have graduating Sailors.

Facilities were very clean, staff was super friendly and very polite, very very close to the Naval base. Only 6 minutes away. Food close by and gas station literally across the property line within walking distance.

The AC broke down in our room, so we requested to change rooms and they agreed right away. Very friendly, very clean and overall very good hotel!

The location is excellent! Smoke free and very clean.

The breakfast was the same for the four days of my stay. They have to improve it.

It was near the naval base which was an excellent location. The price of the room was good. The bed was very comfortable

We made a request to have room cleaned and towels brought but that never happened. The room didn't get cleaned and we had to come to the office to get more towels and cloths.

Perfect location. Close to RTC Great Lakes, train stations, restaurants and shops. Shuttle available for graduation ceremony at Great Lakes. Nice quiet, comfortable rooms, hot breakfast served everyday. Nice staff.

Just a little detail. Elevator was out of service for the whole stay.
