SpringHill Suites by Marriott Chicago Waukegan/Gurnee

The location is perfect and not far from PIR graduation. Walmart is directly across the street and alot of eating places in same square. The hotel staff is friendly and hotel breakfast is good. The pool is a little cold but other than that I have no complaints. We will definitely book again next time we are at great lakes!

Water needs to be warmer in the pool.

The stay was awesome. Mrs Lisa was awesome with trying to help me sort out my situation with my payment methods.

My card was charged 4 times for different amounts. The night auditor Nathan was rude and acted as if he didn’t care. I requested corporate office number and he told me they didn’t have one. Definitely needs to work on his customer service skills.

The staff were amazing. Every time I encountered an employee, I was pleasantly surprised at how kind and nice they were. My young children even took notice. Thank you

We had a minor issue with one of the sinks in the room. But there was a secondary sink in the shower room and we stayed over a holiday, so I didn't bring it to the management's attention until checkout. But I am sure they had it fixed before the next reservation showed up.

The hotel was nice.

We had a towel issue every time we needed towels or toilet paper we had to go down to the front desk. Also, there was a couple nights, I had to wait until 6 am for housekeeping to get towels, so that was very inconvenient not having your necessities for use. The walls in my room were also dirty.

The beds was big and very comfy. Big room, quiet and safe. Parking outside. Easy access to Wallmart and LA fitness, just few meters away. Loved it! OKay breakfast. Good to be an american brekfast... I like NOrwegian breafast better , but this was good :)

The Fitness room was not so inspiring :) I was happy with everything else

The breakfast was good. The receptionist at the desk profusely apologized for the uncleanliness of the first room and put us in a second room that didn’t have dirty linens or the odor of tobacco. Also the entire staff was friendly and courteous.

The bed linen of the first room was so stinky. It had not been changed. That odor plus the odor of tobacco was nauseating. Also the beds were 2 different heights and firmness.

Very clean. Staff are very professional. Perfect place to stay for my son’s graduation from the Navy Bootcamp. Shuttle is provided to go graduation. So close to a lot of stores and restaurants. I would love to stay here again in the future.

Super clean and very nice staffs.

The location of the hotel was great. The breakfast, not so great. I guess one needs to get to breakfast the minute it becomes available. There was zero coffee in the coffee pot. I returned to my room and called for a pot of coffee to be brought to my room. No can do. We went to McDonalds. The next morning, breakfast seemed to be less than the day before. Again, we went to McDonalds. The shower in our room was very nice.

Other than being disappointed with the breakfast offered, the pool, while nice, was over chlorinated. The smell knocked me off my feet when I entered and I only let my granddaughter swim for a short period of time. I realize COVID has everyone scared and that the Mariott is clearly concerned about germs, but to much chlorine isn't a good thing.

Beds were comfortable! Room was clean with lots of space, however we did see visible mold in the shower. Staff was attentive and informative. Breakfast runs out fast so I recommend getting down there early. Pool was clean! Overall, I would stay here again!

No plastic bags in garbage cans. Visible mold in shower.

We had the king-size suite. Very spacious and clean. The breakfast in the morning was very delicious.

Their pillows were very flat, and i had to use 3 to get the right height. The bathroom and shower room didn't have locks on the doors.
