Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Gurnee, IL

The location was ideal for anything that my wife and I wanted to do. Conveniently located near everything, making getting to all of the local stores and restaurants easy.

Some of the front desk personnel was very rude and unpleasant. One of the staff told me that if I didn't like another room, they'd refund me my money. Which I didn't want a refund, I merely wanted the type of room that I reserved on the front side of the hotel. Simply put, she was not a nice person

The room was very nice and the staff was very pleasant.

The breakfast was not that appetizing. That could be much improved. That was the only negative thing I could say about the hotel itself. I was there for my grandson's military graduation that the Navy recruit center. I would stay there again if needed.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Location was excellent.

Breakfast was subpar because the food was cold and tasteless. Housekeeping staff used his keycard and walked in on us without knocking which shocked us. He didn’t say a word and just left. Unsettling to know staff would come in unannounced without calling or knocking especially since we didn’t request any services within an hour or checking in.

The bed was amazingly comfortable and the breakfast was fairly complete. I am gluten free and still was able to eat something.

My room was next to the housekeeping room and between the traffic there and the group down the hall running back and forth to each other’s rooms I wasn’t able to sleep in as I wanted. The soundproofing could use some work.

King Room 108 was next to the pool pump. It was extremely loud all night. Also couldn't open the window due to the exhaust from the pump. No table for eating. No bathtub in this room. (Handicap I assume) There was no juice at breakfast. Not sure if the machine was down or not. Worked last weekend when we stayed. Great location for 6 Flags.

Bed was super comfy. Breakfast offers fruits, cereal, oatmeal, pastries, Begals,toast, yogurt, and a waffle maker. Coffee and Milk. NO BED BUGS !

The property was in a nice safe area. It was clean and staff were very friendly.

The bathroom could have been bigger the toilet to short. Could have cable tv installed had to watch commercial after commercial.

This is a centrally located hotel, close to the attractions we wanted to visit. They had the rooms we needed for our stay.

The hotel is in varies stages of repair, stepping off the elevator on floor three you are greeted with a wall patch (not painted). The elevator has blue painters tape on the floor, and is missing the floor trim. Our room had a broken cabinet door that would not close properly. Overall a nice stay for the price-but could use a few “finishing touches” to make it great.

I enjoyed the variety of breakfast choice, the staff was amazing and kind in everyway. The room with the 2 double beds was perfect for my sister and I. I would go back there whenever I go back to Chicago. Love it, Love it.

Location convenient to Navy base. Staff, and in particular the manager, very helpful and friendly.

Room was sufficient for our needs but we paid more than at other hotel stays for something similar.

Convenient to six flags and reasonably priced

I think someone was given a wrong room number and attempted to enter our room. The door was locked via deadbolt and latch so the person in question must have realized they had the wrong room.
