The location was perfect for our group of 6. We were traveling by bicycles and the hotel was right off of the MCT Nature trail. There were many food choices within walking distance. We enjoyed sitting out back on the patio furnished with patio furniture. The staff was VERY friendly and welcoming. Breakfast had lots of options and there was hot eggs, sausage and biscuits with gravy.
The only thing that I can think of really has nothing to do with the hotel at all. The upstairs neighbors could have walked a little softer. It seems like they were stomping. As I said, the hotel can't control that!

Perfect location right next to the MCT bicycle trails and numerous restaurants. Loved the large and very useful kitchenette in our room! Kitchenette came in very handy during our week-long stay. Atmosphere very quiet and staff was most friendly and helped us to add several more nights onto our stay. Rates much more reasonable than others in the area.

We were blown away the owner Cooks your breakfast and it was amazing !! The hotel was nice and very clean! And its close to everything in st Louis and Illinois
Its cheaper if u book directly thru the hotel itself, we went down because of a death in the family and we could have save almost 100$ booking they the hotel instead and when your driving over 5 hours from home and have to be gone 5 days that extra money is important

Bathroom layout (separate sink area from shower & toilet)! Good breakfast; personable people that work there; good location for anything we wanted to do (NASCAR race at WWT; antiquing; restaurants; gas stations; ice cream breaks, etc.).

It was quite. They had a great breakfast!
I booked months ago and asked for joining rooms. When we got there we was not even close to each other. Finally she found a room next door. But one room had a joining room. We aked about it..was told it was already in use...we never seen or heard anyone. We had children that didn't like not being together.

clean and great location
the breakfast was awful. watery eggs, sausage smelled weird. no bread other than biscuits. no bananas. no yogurt. no juice at all. went across the street to the twisted biscuit the next day. excellent food!!!!

We found the Country Hearth to be very clean and comfortable but are very disappointed to hear that it is being torn down. It was much more reasonably priced than the hotels right next door and we would have stayed there again while visiting family less than 2 miles away.
Breakfast was not very good but we understand nothing is the same since Covid.

Room did not have telephone with which to contact front desk. Wifi was not always available and was not secure. Breakfast was adequate. Due to covid everything was pre packaged--beurito, egg on a muffin were poor quality --soggy as they sat in a warmer. I would have preferred to use the microwave,heating my own and consuming instantly
