Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago Southland-Matteson

Breakfast was awesome considering it was complementary. Loved all the options! We also really liked our view, we were in unit 415 and got to watch the sunset from our bed. Location was perfect for us - we did some things in Chicago and were also able to visit the Indiana Dunes.

The pool was extremely cold and too chlorinated. It was uncomfortable to swim in. The smell of the chlorine was irritating to our nose and eyes. We felt a bit sick after about 20 minutes. It was too bad we couldn't stay longer.

I enjoyed the breakfast. Would have like some type of bran/fiber cereal as an option also. I really liked that bath gel, shampoo, lotion and hand soap were provided.

Wish there had been an airport shuttle and miscommunication on room service. More trash cans in the suite would have been appreciated. More fiber cereal options would have been nice also.

The location is great to be right off the highway. This was my second time here, I love the free parking, breakfast, fitness center, and pool areas. I like that I can leave the car park to walk and do some shopping or order & eat at the nearby strip mall.

I stay at this particular Hotel because it is very close to where my family lives in Richton Park Illinois. It is always clean and a great place to stay very convenient right off of the interstate

This is the most I have ever paid per night to stay at this hotel. My nephew was in town and stayed downtown Chicago and paid $20 more per night than I did for this location.

Felt safe at the location, lots of shopping options, the room was very spacious.

We could never get the room cooler than 76 degrees- which was too hot for our liking. Unfortunately the 2nd night we had loud above neighbors, but once talking to the front desk, it was addressed.

The room was very well updated, clean, and well stocked. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our first breakfast was amazing.

Our second and third breakfast was not as good due to lack of supplies (probably due to Holiday) and options was limited. Please add turkey options as some people can't eat pork.

The breakfast was excellant complete with scrambled eggs, country biscuits and gravey, waffles, oatmeal, juices and fruits. The staff was friendly responsive and polite. The rooms were clean and quiet. I felt safe. Nice stay!

The hotel was great for a 2 night stay near some main Chicago suburbs. 25 mins from Downtown, Chicago. Great location, around all main coffee and food chains, Wallmart and other grocery stores nearby.

The breakfast could be better!

The location was the best for me. Easy to get to and many food options nearby.

They can't help this, but there were a lot of little kids in the pool. So many, I decided that I shouldn't swim. Even though I brought my trunks to swim!

very clean accommodations. Friendly staff. Indoor swimming pool. Nice fitness center on sight. Quiet atmosphere. Located near multiple restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend.
