Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Rockford

The young woman who did our check in was so welcoming & polite. I can't fermenter her name. But she made us feel like we were taken care of 100%. I truly appreciated it. The room was clean the got tub was outstanding, it was all & all a very nice location & the price was ok.

The "full hot" breakfast was more like food from a homeless shelter. Luke warm and their egg disc's were like eating wet cardboard, major bummer.

Breakfast had both hot and cold options- ie. waffles, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, fruit, cereal, yogurt, coffee, juices. Beds were really comfy and had many pillows. I prefer higher water pressure than what this shower had, but at least there was plenty of hot water. Bathroom was pretty large, and sleeping area had two queens and a sleeper sofa. I was told the sleeper sofa was comfy too.

The rooms need more outlets. They were not many, and were not placed in spots you could lay something down to charge overnight. Getting connected to the internet was a challenge for the laptop we brought along. We needed to get the IT department involved to make it happen.

Breakfast was a varied buffet and typically above average. The Individual in charge of the buffet was helpful, animated and had the most wonderful disposition. Made our stay delightful

Room service was every three days unless requested otherwise. May be due to shortage of staff, however, the hotel was clean and functioned very well.

Front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Convenient to restaurant. Beds comfy.

Our room was across from the pool. A lot of noise from big group of kids running in and out of pool area.

Nothing in particular. I just wouldn’t stay here if I was staying in the area. Very busy, and a little close to the highway for more than a night.

I loved Olivia who was at the front desk. She tackled my problems with booking.com with grace. The pool and spa were perfect after a long day on the road. The breakfast was very good.

The hotel was nice and clean. The breakfast service was much more than we expected.

Not all rooms were ready when our group made it to the hotel to check-in. We had a group of kids and we couldn't get swimming pool time to fit our group. The front desk said they would call me once they solved this problem, yet no one ever called. My room did not have any bathroom or shower soaps, shampoos, etc. The hot water wasn't working on Sunday morning.

I stayed here for 18 days while my husband was in the hospital. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The manager was very accommodating during my long stay. I loved, loved the pillows so much that I am going to buy some for my home. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept on. I want one at home. Oh and the comforter was great too, not heavy like most comforters. Thank you Fairfield for a great night's sleep.

I like almost everything at the hotel. Great location very friendly staff. Clean room. The only issue I had was the slamming of a door ( I think it was the side entrance door) slammed shut and made me jump each time. The last I heard it on my first night stay was at 10:00 pm. This is a great hotel and I would definitely stay again. I would just make I was not above the entrance/exit door.

The breakfast was excellent, the staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was clean and the facilities were as well, the location was fabulous, check in was easy and fast

The only thing that could’ve been improved was the comfort of the beds.
