Sleep Inn Rockford I-90

I traveled with my wife. She was impressed with the flowers growing around the Sleep Inn. We were equally impressed with the staff. The live in staff was exceptionally friendly, more like family. I stayed four nights while traveling to and from Sleep Inn. The Wyndham hotels staff I would rate a 10; excellent, helpful, pleasant staff. But here I would rate this family above the rest and 10 is the highest rating. So 10+!

The overstuffed chair. comfortable and I read in it. However, it is too big to fit in the available space. feels jammed and cramped. This is a minor thing, but it is the only negative about my stay.

Alright if that’s what you eat. Access to non processed food.

Access to non processed breakfast items. You need to update in a serious way. Old looking 👀 which makes it appear unclean. Update and not just slap some paint on the walls and call it a day. It needs to be fresh and bright. Also purchase new furniture.

We really felt at home here! Clean sheets and amazing breakfast! There was cereal, juice and fresh fruits! Some of the things we liked: - Curtains blocks outside light - No bed bugs or cockroaches - Super Safe neighbourhood - Free Parking - Free alcohol and breakfast - Laundry Washing Machines and Dryer ($1.25 each)

the bed was so comfortable, PLENTY of pillows. the room was incredibly dark once you pulled the curtains and turned out the lights, dark enough I thought it was still early early morning (~3a) when it was 10a. It also isn't listed that there was a mini fridge in my room, but there was one! What a nice surprise!

the only thing I didn't like about the room I was in was the bathroom door. it looked like there wasn't one, but it's a sliding door and it's hard to lock and open from the inside. there was also no vent in the bathroom (at least no switch that I could see to turn it on).

The beds were comfortable and the rooms were mostly quiet. I didn't hear much from other rooms, or people walking the hallway. Modern hotels have chosen to skimp on the soundproofing. That didn't seem to be the case with Sleep Inn. Majority of the staff was friendly nd courteous.

Not sure if the sheet was't changed, or just stained. There was an area of something dark on the side. Didn't appreciate someone coming to the room to ask if water was being used while I was taking a shower. They claimed somebody complained. Seriously, if you are going to complain about a shower in use, don't travel. (Also, don't ask dumb questions when you can hear the shower running.)

Bed very comfy. Staff was very nice like they were happy to be there. Breakfast was HOT and plenty of options. They took a letter and mailed it for me. We stayed 2nights. Located right next to Tavern on Clark. We could have walked there. We went for dinner and it was very good. I worked from hotel room one day and wifi was very reliable. Chair was comfy.

Only one neg comment. We could hear the neighbors upstairs as ceiling creaked a bit. No tub but loved the shower.

It was a good price compared to other places and was a decent room. Overall it was a clean room.

The main light when first walk in so you can see didn’t work. The grab n go breakfast wasn’t great and ended up going out for breakfast. The lack of options was the reason and probably the main reason I will try a different location next time. They didn’t have a sign near the entrance of the parking lot so it was very easy to miss and have to turn around to go back to it since you can’t see the hotel until you get to the entrance of the parking lot.

The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was better than expected for this type of motel. Vending prices surprising low. the entire facility was clean and well cared for.

Lack of drawer space, ok for one night but would be an issue for a longer stay. bed a bit toward the hard side

The property was located at a nice reserved place, near a famous restaurant of the area. The interior was nice and clean, and smelled great. The breakfast options were plenty, and did not disappoint. The room was clean equipped with a microwave and a small fridge.

Did not use the breakfast but enjoyed the coffee in the room. Nice to have microwave & fridge (I didn't realize they were included). Quiet & clean. Staff very pleasa t & helpful (I had trouble using key card). Had handicapped accessible room for my daughter who is in a wheelchair. Peephole at door lowered and phone in bathroom low on wall which is perfect for someone in a wheelchair. Bed was VERY comfortable!
