Motel 6 Rockford, Il

Room was renovated recently it seems. New floors and furniture. Bathroom was very nice as well. Staff was helpful as well.

Elevator is out of order and this is a 3 floor facility. I was on the top floor vut nice view and nobody stomping on the floor above me. Also the pillows were flat. Some 5 dollar pillows from walmart would be a vast improvement.

After being stuck in traffic for over an hour due to an accident, we were ready to call it a day. Not having any reservations, we stopped at one hotel and I didn't feel safe. There were no lights in the parking lot so we went with my gut feeling. I checked IExit app and saw Motel 6 was near. When we pulled in, it was so well lighted my anxiousness turned to calm. Then when I registered, I notice at check in there were like 30 security cameras. When we opened the door we were surprised. No yucky carpet, the room was bigger than expected, and there were TWO PLACES to set our suitcases on. Usually there is only one, even at the more expensive hotels. Our first check once in the room is, water pressure, lighting and air conditioning.BAM!! This property deserved a 10 . Also which was the first time this question had been asked and we stay at a lot of hotels. May I have the drivers license of the gentleman with you. I asked why and he said , "in case he hurts you, we'll know who we are looking for" Don't pass this one up. Safe, clean and friendly.

Price was good, room was very acceptable Motel-6 decor (no frills) new bathroom as good quality as any Marriott, though smaller. Quite and clean simple new furniture clean LVP floors great TV and all the movies channels The bed was great Hallway was all new finishes, recently renovated (only one ice machine on 1st floor, 2nd & 3rd are yet to be installed

GPS sent us on a goose chase Parking area was choked with weeds and the entrance we used looked like “ghetto carpeting worn out to the concrete” the management needs to replace this hazardous green Capet mess The new lobby was very inviting. We would stay here again as it is improving with renovations

Convenient location, make sure you eat at the Happy Wok just west of the hotel. The room was neat and clean. Staff was friendly, I didn’t have any issues during my stay so unsure how that would’ve been handled. I’d stay here again.

The parking lot is a bit rough. Each time I got into my car, I got a bunch of gravel in my car.

Overall, I liked it. It was in a great location and the staff was nice and helpful.

My only negative was that my bathroom wasn't real clean. There was an old bar of soap in the bathtub, as well as hair in the tub and on the floor.

the rooms were really nice and updated..very spacey

the way the TVs were setup..it gave my the picture on a small portion of the screen and a menu took up the rest..it was hard to read any of the titles.

Motel 6 went through renovations quite a few years back, so I had no hesitation reserving this location. The pictures shown did match the actual room. My room was clean, the decor was updated, and I enjoyed my stay.

Modern clean rooms with lots of space. Fridge and microwave included. AC was very cold.

Don't be fooled by the exterior. The rooms are nice and newly updated. They just need to do the halls and elevators now.

Was there for work but everything was clean and worked properly. Big bathroom was a plus! Hot shower... wifi was not so great but overall it was a great stay.

I remember thinking the parking lot was very small for the amount of traffic that came through there. It could use a bit of work too. Lots of potholes, limited space to park work vehicles in but everything else was fine.

Clean facility and very friendly staff that go above and beyond. TJ was very helpful during my check in,. He explained to me where to park and a review of the room. Overall a great experience!

I wish there were more lights in the bathroom.
