Springhill Suites by Marriott Chicago Schaumburg/Woodfield Mall

Front desk is friendly, I can get the answer easily from her. Breakfast is kind of salty, I think it's the difference between Eastern and Western. But the oat milk is awesome, I love it so much!

Though it's pretty clean, no dust, no bug, but I feel itchy when I sleep on the bed. Also, there are some weird smell in the building, at the beginning I thought it's the smell of America, but after these days I live in other place, I think it's not normal.

I liked the location, the breakfast, the staff (pm and am) were very nice and accommodating.

The room decor is very outdated. The television is very outdated making it difficult to watch movies or shows in 4K or High Definition. The room was not as clean as it should have been especially in the time of COVID-19 and all it’s variants. The swimming pool should have a sign up for social distancing policy and for contact tracing purposes. When we cleaned the room, it was obvious that minimal disinfecting had taken place. This is concerning. Also, the couch was not clean. This was less than expected as I have always stayed with the Marriott brand and SpringHill Suites has been at the top of the chain in amenities, quality, and decor.

The staff was exceptionally nice and knowledgeable. Pool was OPEN! Very pretty hotel. We would choose this hotel again if we travel near Chicago. Traveling with a 4 year old it was nice to see a kiosk for snacks.

Bed and sofa bed was uncomfortable. There was not the hotel-area packet that we were used to seeing in our room. Since we are not from Chicago it was hard to find a place to eat and a grocery store.

The rooms and main areas were clean. Quiet stay not a lot if noise. Breakfast was pretty, had a few different varieties.

Pillows were a little flat, not as fluffy and firm as I like, but bed was comfortable. During the Covid rise not all residents wore mask even in public common areas. There were signs up that must wear mask but wasn't enforced as it should have been ☹

Breakfast was delicious, offered plant based milk options. Room was spacious and had a nice layout.

Room was freezing, kept turning thermostat up, but still ran almost constantly. Pillows were very flimsy had to stack them to get comfortable.

Service and cleanliness. Location was great also.

Our TV kept going in and out. It was late night and they said they would switch it out in the morning but we we checking out that day. So, we were not happy campers because we could never finish a movie!

Clean comfortable rooms.

Big gaps under doors so the noises from the hall could be heard. Breakfast area is very small with not enough sitting. Many people had to stand eating.

Staff were great, spacious rooms, lots to choose from for breakfast

Extremely rude guest that were there & while not the staffs fault & they tried everything to quiet the guest a bit & keep them happy, the guest just kept getting more obnoxious

real close to everything we wanted.

no on site shuttle… there was a free shuttle that goes around town but it went only to specific areas.

Excellent breakfast, nice staff, safe area, clean quiet room

Little problem upon check in which was solved by the InCharge in a professional way.
