Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago Schaumburg Woodfield

Breakfast was OK.

Chef would not give me a carry out container. I had to get to a conference at a certain time and wanted to take my breakfast to go so I just wrapped it in a bunch of napkins. When I got to my room, the first day, the bath tub was filled with water and then I realized the bathroom hadn't been cleaned.

Everything was wonderful and we were well taken care of during our stay. Facilities were working well and breakfast was nice every morning

The only thing that went wrong is that our check in was delayed. We we arrived to be checked in at 4pm. We did not get inside the room until 4:45pm

The room, lobby area and breakfast area were spacious. The lobby/breakfast area is very bright with natural light.

The carpet in the room doesn’t smell clean; there was a water ring left on one of the tables and it appears that toothpaste or food of some sort was stuck on the remote in the bedroom. Thankfully, I always travel with cleaning and disinfecting products. Also, there were no hooks in the bathroom to hook your robe or other items. Finally, the shades to the sidelights would not stay lowered. Thank you.

Breakfast was delicious when I did get up to eat. I do believe I should not have to get a coupon to eat when I stay over 4 days.

Ciould have stay open a little longer. Maybe a few extra items to be included.

Friendly staff, able to order a personally made omelette etc. pricing was comparable.

Our bathroom fan didn’t work from the beginning. Called to have it fixed and said they would get on it. Looks like they came at some point and took it apart, but still didn’t work. There was a mess in the bathroom when they were done and they never cleaned it up. The prices of the drinks, ice cream etc was RIDICULOUSLY priced. No need to pay $6 for a bottle of soda or tea. $4 for an ice cream. No need for that.

The ladies at the front desk so helpful.

How they changed the Manager Special cocktail hour and only had 1 bar tender and how they have hot breakfast for an entire hotel with one chef

Overall it was a nice clean hotel the price was excellent especially for an embassy suites

The hot tub was not in service that was one thing I was looking for was being able to sit down there and soak especially since they didn’t allow children in the pool area after 8 I believe so you had time to relax without slashing and yelling

Nice building and the lobby area was comfortable. Rooms are spacious and bed was comfortable as well. Enjoyed being able to crack the outdoor window a bit and letting fresh air in.

The lobby area gets a bit noisy which comes through the room doors and windows. Also didn’t care for the windows by the doors but they look nice from the lobby.

I like that there were alot of restaurants and stores around.

Overall I my stay was great. I dont like that pets are now allowed inside of the hotel due to the fact that im allergic. Rooms were clean ,but only issue is when I turned the shower on a big black glob of I dont what came out. Very disgusting.

The breakfast was very delicious and my stay was fine.

One of the front desk workers walked around and knocked on guest doors, stating they were talking too loud. Everyone thought he was a manager. He even screamed at other workers while guest were around.
