1st room had stale smoke smell even though it was a non smoking room and so we moved. staff was accommodating.

The room was spacious with a lot of desk space for our many bags. Heather at the front desk was extremely friendly and welcoming, she went the extra mile. A Whole Foods and lots of places to eat in walking distance makes this a great location.

Well kept. Looks brand new. Close to walmart, target. 10 mins away from Notre Dame. Rooms are very, very clean. Kitchen is well appointed. Breakfast is great with a lot of choices. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Manager is great! Love This hotel. Will definitely stay again to visit our son in ND.

No room safe.

Staff extremely kind and helpful when my prebooked Uber to the airport did not show up. Despite being the only staff at the desk she called numerous cab companies before securing a ride and I was able to make my flight out of South Bend. Thanks so much for your efforts!

Pillows are a little to flimsy and soft Breakfast sandwiches were awful - need more breakfast sandwich options.

I’ve never considered staying at a Home2 chain for two reasons: 1) I thought it was only for extended stays, & 2) I hate the logo. I sort of accidentally happened upon this property the night of my stay (I anticipated staying at a nearby competitor but it was booked that night) on Booking.com. I always like to call to verify how to book when traveling with a dog (some hotels have specific rooms for pets) & my call was answered by Sabrina, who was amazing. After our conversation I booked immediately. When I checked in a couple of minutes later, she was equally phenomenal in-person. She was so nice & friendly, which was SO nice after spending all day on the road. She explained everything about the hotel when I mentioned how I had never stayed at a Home2. She even provided some local recommendations for me to check out if I was up to it - really excellent experience for a weary traveler! I was blown away by my room! A desk, a couch, & A KITCHEN with a full-size fridge, microwave, dishwasher, & DISHES. Real dishes! It made me really disappointed that I was only staying for one night. Oh, & the bed was so comfortable that I later there moaning & groaning about how good it was when I climbed in. This location is on a roadtrip that I make several times per year & I definitely will be checking in again!

My one complaint is that the pet fee is nearly double what I’ve ever paid anywhere else. It’s for the length of the stay (many hotels charge per night), so I suppose it would balance out for a longer stay - but I only stayed one night, so it was irritatingly high.

We really enjoyed the on-site parking, the friendly greeting, the cleanliness, the ambiance, the comfortable bed, and the entire Home2Suite experience.

Loved the rooms! Clean, lots of space, loved the mini kitchen. Staff was beyond friendly and helpful.

The pool was cold and very small, wish their was a hot tub. Had a ton of unauthorized room charges which I wasn’t very happy about.

Check-in was a breeze and the young gal at the front desk was very professional but a lot of fun as well!!! She was very kind, informative, and most helpful.

I liked the fresh individually wrapped Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches. the waffle makers were a great idea as well.

More breakfast options like hash browns and pancakes.
