Quality Inn South Bend near Notre Dame

Excellent value for the price paid. Giving this 5 stars not because it’s a Hilton or JW Marriott but because the amount vs what I received was excellent. Check in and check out were pretty quick. I only had to make a line one day around check in because I had lost my key the night before. I don’t know what hotel this used to be but looks like they pretty much just kept the shell and renovated all inside. Doesn’t look like much as you pull up (starting from the temporary sign) that I was like oh no, what did I do. But once I walked into the lobby I was pleasantly surprised. Looks clean, modern and new. The room was just about the right size for 2 people. I wish there had been a fridge (there’s the cabinet space for it, maybe they will add eventually) but also not a deal breaker. Almost everywhere we went was a 10 minutes distance away, so great location without the downtown prices. Staff was nice and friendly. I would gladly stay here again.

I didn’t try the breakfast but it didn’t look like much.

Considering the short time this management team has been in place, the hotel was quite good. The breakfast was good, and plentiful. the rooms were clean and tidy. plenty of parking.

The outside fence was falling down, there was not door at the top of the stairs which made the hallway on the 2nd floor very noisy. Also room 203 which I was in needs repair on the toilet as the was significand wabble when sitting down. As I stated earlier it was obvious that the current management group needs a little time to fix some of the problems.

The stuff were really nice.The room was quite clean and a very peaceful place to stay at.I would definitely book again

One stuff banging the doors quite early in the morning and even though it was a non-smoking facility they had one stuff smoking inside,but overall she was attentive and did her job well

Owner/ Manager was excellent. Very friendly and willing to help. The rooms hotel and rooms overall was clean and did what we needed the room for.

The hotel is in a small dying strip of the main road and tucked back behind a couple closed buildings. The land scaping could be cut back to welcome more visitors. We will be going back because the cleanliness and the owner.

Clean rooms and comfortable beds. I stayed during the downstairs remodel so rooms were limited but very fair on the price. Smaller rooms but well worth the price of admission in my opinion.

Everything else about this location pleased me. Since I have been traveling regularly I have stayed in several of this chains locations and I must say that this is the most well-kept location I have stayed in.

The windows in the Lobby didn't appear that they had been washed in a long time.

The staff was amazing, especially the acting manager. She was the best.

Nothing could’ve been better. It was perfect.

Place was clean and staff was nice and friendly.

Shower was rusty at the drain, but everything else in bathroom and room was clean and up to date.

Breakfast was very good and plenty of it. There was a variety of food items which was wonderful. Beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean.

We liked everything. There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Location was good it was a continental breakfast it was good

If it was free but it wasn't look it was clean bed was good
