Motel 6-South Bend, IN - Mishawaka

I do like the front desk I do like the rooms the place is clean because it's a five-year-old building no deposit which is great but it seems like they want to push you out a little at checkout other than that it's a great place

At one instance the front desk was rude or just not a very good business like person with good ethics the a.m. morning front desk lady and secondly they don't keep up with the coffee it's like they run out very quickly and they're done I had one cup and go for a second and it's over with

Look BOOKIN.COM I HAD TO CANCEL MY RESERVATION THRU THE MOTEL. THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL TO THAT REGARD. SO MOTEL 6 SOUTH BEMD MISHAWAKA AREA WAS AWESOME IN EVERY WAY. THEY HELPED ME TO CANCEL MY EESERVATION BC I COULDNT DO IT ON LINE. WHY BC THERES NO PLACE TO CANCEL IT ANY WHERE. IM NOT HAPPY WITH BOOKING.COM. THEY DONT HELP U RIGHT AWAY U HAVE TO WAIT IVER A HOUR TO TALK TO ANYONE. AND THE VIRTUAL ASST. THATS WAY TO MUCH BC THEY CANTCHELP YOU EITHER. MOTEL 6 HELPED ME IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE LAST NIGHT THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR ME TO CANCEL THE RESERVATUON. BUT I DIDNT GET THQT FROLM BOOKING.COM. OVER A HOURXTO WQIT TO TALK TO A AGENT. I HAD MINUTES BEFORW I WAS CHARGED. BUT NOTHING GOES THRU MY QCCOUNT WITHOUT ME KNOWING ANYTHING FIRST HAND. SO IF U TRYED TO TAKE THE MONWY OUT. CREDIT CARD KNOWS THAT NO FUNDS COME OUT UNLESS I SIGN GIVING PERMISSION TO RELEASE FUNDS . SO NOW BOOKING.COM YOU ALL OWE ME, I HAD A FAMILY EMERGENCY AND YOU ALL COULDNT HELP ME IN TIME. MY MOTHER PASSED AWAY. SO U 5HINK I NEED TO BE REIMBURSED FOR A HOUR ON THE PHONE HOLDING AND YOU. ALL NEVER PICKED UP AFTER 1 HOUR AND 40 MINUTES. IM SO MAD IT MAKES ME NOT TO WANT TO BOOK FEOM YOU EVER

The location and the price for a quick weekend getaway.

The hotel has nothing to do about the guests that stay there. The staff did what they could do to control the environment. I’m quite sure when ND football season starts this will not be of an issue. Again nothing towards the hotel itself but It was hard to regulate the temperature of the room. In my opinion, the bedspread was super thin. I had another blanket in my car so I used that also. Overall,not a bad stay.

Helpful and friendly staff, the location. Most of all, The Pet friendly policy😁. I enjoy staying here. Whenever, I come to South Bend, Motel 6 is always my first choice.

I have pet. My preference is to have a room not far from the staircase/ backdoor, (convenient whenever you need to take your dog out to take care of it business, also it’s less tiring load and unload your 🧳 😁

This was a very reasonably priced hotel for us to stay at while moving our son back in to Notre Dame. The location was close and it was nice to have a refrigerator, nice bathroom, and comfortable bed.

The air conditioning unit made a very loud noise all night. When we looked at it in the morning, we pulled out the filter and it was very dirty. We cleaned the dirt off and it wasn't loud anymore, but we had to sleep with it like that all night. The room and bathroom were very clean, but the floors were very dirty. I walked around in my white socks for about 15 minutes and when I went to put my shoes on, they were almost black on the bottom. I'm glad I brought an extra pair of clean socks.

Very very small rooms , the lady , I think lady was rude and loud always talking about how if I don't follow rules she would fine me for this and that , she assumed from the get go that I was a trouble maker , I was there with my mother for a funeral , they did not offer any breakfast at all value was not there

Wow, I was expecting "fine" or "okay" but this place was really the best Motel 6 I've ever been to. Wonderful place and so reasonable in price. Also central to so many good options (walkable)

A hairdryer would've been great, but none was supplied. Also only one out of our two room keys worked but that wasn't a huge deal and we probably could have easily addressed that with the front desk staff but didn't.

Been a while since I stayed in a Motel 6 and was very pleased with the room I had. I requested to be on upper floor and it was quiet; I slept very well. This is a newer facility, still mostly in prime condition but won't last long. Rate savings worth the drive to Notre Dame campus and into downtown South Bend. Numerous places to eat close to hotel.

The bath tub was very slippery with nothing on the bottom. $60 deposit has been refunded to my credit card, rather a joke wondering what damage/problems that amount would cover. Desk clerk said it's because they're in a college town but also had a rough crowd staying there, in/around parking lot.

The front desk people are always so wonderful.

Some of the housekeeping/maintenance staff are super rude. One of them yelled in my face because he misunderstood the situation, but I never got an apology just ptsd. Housekeeping is usually super loud in the morning and they'll sometimes knock on my door 3 or 4 different times asking about check out.

Was nothing I did not like!! Rooms are awesome, modern looking, perfect size for a couple. Bed and pillows are great!! All staff are wonderful. No negative anything from this happy customer!
