Best Western Muncie

The breakfast was hot sausage eggs and pancakes. The pancake maker was automatic...easy, clean, and fun to use.

Beware! The hotel charges a $100 deposit! The manager did not tell me about this until I noticed the charge on my bank account. When I asked him about it, he said it would be removed that day...the day I check out. I haven't seen the charge removed yet (midday...the day after my check out) but the charge is pending. I will update if it changes. Just beware of this charge...I was not.

Perfect location. Loved my room. Very quiet. Perfect for short or extended stays.

The only thing I didn’t like was there is no elevator. It was hard carrying heavy suitcases up the stairs. Also the vending is only in main level. Also the stairs have no backs to them. That’s a huge fear on mine.

I walked into hotel to check in and was immediately impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel. Was greeted and taken care of by the owner who was very kind. Went to our room and it was also very clean and tidy, comfy beds too! We utilized the pool and it was the cleanest pool we have EVER been in, no musty smell in the pool room either! We had a short but wonderful stay. Would like to add in that the young gal who works the night shift was a pure joy! I would give this hotel 10 stars + (not just 5 which is the highest). We will be back next time we need to go to Muncie...

The only thing I would try to improve on is maybe the quality of the coffee - it was OK, but there was nothing that I disliked about this hotel!!!

Very safe hotel. The pool was fantastic! Great location, close to the college (where I work). The setting was peaceful (surrounded by a few trees with birds chirping in the morning which was really nice). The rooms were comfortable, clean, and very quiet. I really liked how quiet everything was! The staff were nice. I was a late check in the first night (like 2 am) and the young lady who checked us in was expecting us (which we really appreciated after such a long drive) and she was very kind and helpful. There was breakfast in the morning. There is a really great Mexican restaurant nearby. I will stay here again if I have to come to Muncie for work. There was a microwave and refrigerator in our room.

The Jacuzzi was closed. :-( The rooms were a little small for the price, but the quiet/safe setting, great location, large pool, and friendly staff would make me consider staying here again.

THE HOTEL IS LOCATED IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERTHING. YOU WILL FIND MANY RESTAURANTS AND STORES. IT WAS VERY EASY TO ORDER AN UBER SERVICE AND EASILY GET FROM ONE PLACE TO THE OTHER AND NOT HAVE TO DRIVE. OUR VEHICLES WERE ABLE TO STAY PUT ALL EVENING.

I HATED THE FACT THAT A $200.00 DEPOSIT WAS REQUIRED. USUALLY IF THE FACILITY HAS YOUR CREDIT CARD ON FILE THEY DON'T FORCE THE DEPOSIT ON THE CARD. ONLY IF THERE IS DAMAGE IS YOUR CARD CHARGED FOR DAMAGEDS INCURRED. IT'S AN ANCIENT RULE. THE ROOM WE BOOKED WAS NOT THE ROOM WE WERE GIVEN, SO WE HAD TO COME BACK UP FRONT AND CLARIFY.

Good. Glad to have eggs and sausage. Didn’t know how to use the pancake maker. Coffee was very good.

The bed was uncomfortable and hard to get into for a handicapped person.

Rooms were comfortable, and clean. The pool was clean and We lucked out and had it to ourselves, while We were using it. Good breakfast, staff was friendly.

Breakfast was good, but I was almost afraid of taking my eggs and sausage patties. Only a small amount was out at one time....I thought, if others came out at the same time, they might run out....I did not see that happen...just a concern.

The pool was closed. and got there at 3am staying for 2 days but still had to pay for whole day up until the 2 or 3 am time we got there or we would of had to wait n lobby or car with my 9 yes old daughter until early check in at 1 that afternoon. Yea almost 10 hrs so I paid the extra hundred bucks. But hey stayed 2 paid for 3 you guys win this one I reckon haha!! But everything and everyone else was perfect so can't knock the whole lot for 1 ding...

Nice staff and it was very clean! I appreciated how easy it was to check in especially with the size of the group I attended with. Lastly, the rooms were very clean and spacious.

There was a bit of a smoke smell odor in the hallways. I would imagine this is not the fault of the hotel but rather due to visitors. The breakfast could be improved but overall it was nice.

The staff was amazing. The person working the desk during the morning and days of 10/21 - 10/23 was phenomenal. His help and personality absolutely made my stay spectacular

Due to homecoming, prices were inflated quite a bit. Probably 300%. I saw the normal days were right around $75 to $80. Prices this weekend were $266.50 after tax.
