La Quinta by Wyndham South Bend

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The were happy to engage in conversation. Very nice and inviting entry way with front desk and breakfast room. We The size of the towels were actually big enough to wrap around plus size body!! M.m

I was disappointed in the timing for breakfast. 9 am is very early for a weekend. At 8 :30 the hot entress were gone, syrup out, pancake maker was out of order, and no bread selection available other than 2 bagels. Had to go off property to purchase breakfast. The room was clean. Pool room looked good from a distance but was very small. Did not use due to lack of space.

Spacious room, very clean, TV worked great and we were able to hook up our gaming console to it. We traveled with kids so the sofa bed was a great bonus for sleep space.

The fridge didn't have a freezer area. When we were getting out breakfast every morning, there was a lady that was basically on our heels rushing us to get our food so she can wipe everything down again. I appreciate she wanted it clean, but she seemed aggravated that we were even getting breakfast.

Very clean, affordable and friendly staff

The pool was much smaller then the pictures lead us to believe. We were road tripping and tired and needed entertainment for the kids and it was really small, you couldn’t jump or swim around without bothering others.

I thought the breakfast was good..the room was cleaned..one of the best things was the swimming pool..my daughter loved it.

I didn't like the fact that the safety bar in the bath tub was up by the faucet..should b where a person my age could hold on to..also need some kind of grip..bath tub was slippery. Also u have homeless people coming in for breakfast dirty & smelly standing over the food..not good..otherwise my stay was great..😊

I booked two rooms online. When we arrived and checked in, the person at the front desk said he could only find one booking. So our friend traveling with us booked her own room. At 1:00 in the morning, someone at the front desk called our cell phone to see if we were in our room at this airport LaQuinta. It was very confusing and disruptive. I hope we are not charged for the second room. There was no milk for breakfast for cereal or coffee.

The location was okay. The breakfast was a plus. The beds were comfortable for the most part.

I did not like that you can't watch any TV or you can't use bluetooth or chromecast to watch anything. My bed sheets were stained and felt thin. The light also would cut off every 30 mins. My friend had the light shut off twice while in the shower. It also happened to me when I was ironing my clothes.

We stayed for 9 days here this July. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was about 10 minutes to anything in South Bend and 20 minuites to most nearby towns. Breakfast was good and always stocked each morning. With the covid restrictions our room wasn't being serviced daily. So the housekeeping staff and laundry supervisor made sure we had towels everyday and that our trash was taken care of. They were always polite and very friendly.

The pool was not in service which was a huge draw in booking this hotel so that was a disappointment. The fitness room was not fully operational or fully stocked though this could be due to covid-19.

I liked the location, the staff were always happy to help and always pleasant to talk to, and the shuttle to the airport was the best.

There was construction going on so you had to be aware of of signage as to were to enter and exit cause it was changing. on my last day I was woke up to housekeeping knocking on my door just to confirm I was going to be checking out but I still had 2 hours before checkout.

We were a late check in and the staff was extremely helpful and sooo pleasant. Breakfast was better than expected. I cant say enough about the ladies in the lobby. Thank you for making the first leg of our trip awesome.

The first room we checked in to was not turned over. It was, however handled super fast and was very little hassle for us. We were simply placed in another room. Again, the staff was awesome about this, and we were a late check in.
