Comfort Suites Cedar Falls

Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfy. My family enjoyed the pool & hot tub. Breakfast was good. The whirlpool in our room was a pleasant surprise. Location worked well for us, as it's close to the UNI dome. Overall, we had a great stay.

I understand housekeeping doesn't come daily to make beds, etc. But our garbage was overflowing, so we asked for a new bag at the front and put the full one outside our room - nobody picked it up in the 2 days we were there. There was an empty alcohol bottle in our bathroom on a shelf from the previous guests. The kids' area of the pool looks like it could use cleaning/maintenance. Also, it was a little disappointing how much rates were raised because there was an event in the area (wrestling).

A great value. Very large rooms and facilities, including the pool, were terrific. The breakfast was much better than I expected from a standard hotel buffet. The room and facilities were very clean.

The shower turn-on switch is perhaps the most poorly designed ever engineered! The breakfast buffet helper did not promptly clean the tables and held up the coffee line while she was fixing her own cup of coffee! I would have a little staff training session to maybe correct this situation!

The room, the beds, the cleanliness and the amenities were all terrific. The bathroom was very nice--and clean, but missing a towel rack. Wet towels just make a mess on the floor and it ruins the clean feel of the bathroom--not to mention guests use waaaay more towels when there is no rack.

Because of a shortage of double queen size bed rooms, we agreed to get a king size bed. To our surprise it was a large suite with a whirlpool tub that had a separate bed room. The room had a fireplace as well. Wow! The upgrade was given within our original booking rate. Breakfast was good. The waffle mix was apple cinnamon which was very tasty. Otherwise, it was typical scramble eggs and sausage for the other hot entrees on both mornings we stayed. Compared to our stay at this hotel in Jul, it was absolutely quiet!

The bathroom needs a chair height toilet and soft close lid. Also towel bars are needed in the bath.

The rooms were very clean and the beds were so comfy! The space in the room was perfect for myself, three teenagers and my 4 year old. Breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool had a zero entry area with fountains which was great for my youngest child. Hotel was close to Walmart and Target. Would highly recommend.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, just the standard offerings.

I asked for a quiet/private room and instead was given room 218 - directly outside the elevator. I heard people talking right outside my door often. People in the room directly above me were dropping things and walking around loudly in the middle of the night and then again at 6am.

Not happy with Booking.com!!! No comments about the hotel because we were left stranded in a strange town without accommodations late at night. I booked the thru Booking, and when we arrived, no room available. We were left scrambling trying to find a room at midnight.

Breakfast was delicious - especially the biscuits and sausage gravy. that is my favorite. AND, thank you for having breakfast until 9:30 am. I appreciate the extra time in the morning.

Dining window ledges dirty and tables not wiped of very well, still had food residue on them. Probably could have staff clean breakfast area better. Hotel, pool and other areas well cleaned! Very great place for a family to stay!

The rooms were spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels and the breakfast was great! I felt safe and secure there. And all of the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
