Baymont by Wyndham Waterloo

The staff was amazing! The GM/Manager on duty was excellent. He was there to answer all my questions and made sure our stay was a great one. He was kind enough to check in on us when we got back from our funeral. Very nice guy!

We had a large group I wish there was a bigger room we all could of sat around in and played games or talked rather than in our rooms.

The continental breakfast was fine. I could tell this place served hot food before COVID. Bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. Building was clean. Restaurants and mall within in walking distance. Housekeeping was limotes due to COVID but they made sure I had basics each day.

My main dislikes were: 1.the tub needed repair. there was part missing and looked filthy. I am not sure it was actual filth or something from part being missing. It also drain very slow - shower in anxle deep water. 2. Noise. I could hear people talking in hallway, vaccum for housekeeping next door, and i was by the car wash (property next door). Each time i heard the auto wash run. 3. Curtain. It left a gap and had to use a hanger to keep it closed. My window overlooked a lighted car wash. This location didnt hold up to expectations from other baymount hotels that I have visited.

The room itself was clean, fresh and comfortable.

The outside was a bit shabby, the rooms were much nicer. Breakfast was OK, had to ask for OJ dispenser to be refilled. No lids for coffee cups.

All was great

But I didn't appreciate getting charged a extra 50 Because there was a little steak sauce on comforter we been coming there for years I was very disappointed 😞

The only issue I had was the people that were above me decided to stomp & run across the floor from 4 a.m. on. As well as running the water & showering. It happened 3 nights in a row but that was because I kept giving them chances. Once I reported it on Saturday it stopped. I am confident that had I reported it sooner it would have stopped sooner.

It was a nice and very quiet room. Good price and good value for that price. The back door was locked for security but easy access to our room.

We could not eat breakfast in the breakfast area so had to eat in the food in our room, "due to Covid the tables and chairs could not be set up.

Comfortable, family friendly, good breakfast, tasty morning coffee, good facilities, and great location going to waterpark.

Cleanliness needed to be better, our bathroom and tub were not clean.

I've been on a near four-week road trip from MN to AL and back, and this property was the cleanest, most refreshing, bright hotel I've stayed at (all locations were between $50-$80/night). For the price I got on Booking, it was an utter surprise at how nice it was.

Not a thing that comes to mind.

Very convenient and close to the amusement park and swim park.

We had someone's dirty underwear in our room.
