Hilton Garden Inn Dubuque Downtown

Room was very clean. Breakfast included with our room; hot/cold buffet was very good. Easy checkin & checkout. Convenient location to all areas of interest.

A hold was put on my account for cost of room rate (normal) but also an additional $150 dollars. This should be explained more thoroughly prior to checkin or at checkin. When I questioned it, none of the staff had a good explanation. In the room we noticed mold in cooling unit vents. And the sheets were old & didn't stay on the bed well.

Overall, this place was great it was clean, rooms were big clean, bed was comfort & friendliness. it's been a while since we been taken and overnight trip, was very satisfied.

Only complaint I had was kids running up & down the halls in & out the doors, pretty noisy.I think the parents have been supervised their children.

I loved the location and attached casino. All very nice

The breakfast was kind of stupid to charge $10 for donuts and cereal. You can go to many other hotels that offer the exact same items complimentary and the buffet was not worth $12.95, again, I have been to many other hotels the offer the exact same thing for free.

Great location if you are going to an event or like to gamble. It's very pricey, though, for that convenience

Toliet didn't flush well and price Took 30 minutes to get a plunger for toliet. I called once amd them walked down to front desk for help.

The entrance. It just felt like they were waiting to give you big welcoming hug and grateful that you were staying at their hotel.

The tub. Getting in was quite a big step and then getting out was not sure where the floor was cause it felt like it was too far down.

The room was larger and clean. The hotel was easy to reach and there was ample parking.

The hotel was a little farther away from downtown. There was some wild behavior in the pool.

The rooms were very nice and quiet and they've got an awesome little "store" for drinks/snacks/etc. We booked here instead of the Hotel Julien because it was connected to the Q Casino. They also offer contactless check-in and check-out, which is pretty cool.

The bed was a bit hard for my husband and we will both bring our own pillows next time (3 days from now). We did not get breakfast because it is now a BOX breakfast, because of covid, and my husband doesn't like bagels and I don't like hard boiled eggs.

Loved that it was connected to the casino, we enjoyed playing slots for awhile.

We liked the pool and that the restaurant and casino were all connected together. The breakfast situation could have been better. It was either the $10 dollar continental breakfast or order off the menu without access to items on the continental breakfast bar.

The bathroom toilet was not very clean.

Loved the convince to Concert we attended. Walking distance to casino which is plus.

As a housekeeper myself, detail to cleaning could be better. Lighting was not the best. Tried to charge more then was on booking.
