Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Lawrence, KS

The breakfast buffet offered a nice selection of options, some of which changed from one day to the next. It was well managed and hot food was hot. Enjoyed the selection of tea bags. We liked that the time frame was later on the weekend, allowing some breathing space in our morning plans.

The young man who staffed the desk when we checked in really doesn't understand "greeting" the guests. He was perfunctory, verging on bland or unwelcoming, as we registered and asked questions. He was not prepared to offer much info. The rest of the weekend the desk staff was personable and helpful. The road construction on the road out front was really annoying, but we know that the Country Inn has no control.

Everything was Wonderful/Clean/Staff very Friendly/Accommodating!( Justin/Katie/Canya(breakfast person/another lady (forgot her name/breakfast!)Addison!) One downer thing! When I first got into Lawrence I couldn't find the hotel!? It took a while/I even called hotel-they couldn't even help me find it!? I had to get help from some of the businesses in the area!! Finally I reached the hotel@! Wasn't told/warned about the construction stuff either/made it extra hard to even get into the hotel!! Overall it still turned out to be a Fantastic/Fabulous stay at this hotel@ I would recommend it to others!! (Get rid of the traffic lights/waiting way too long for them to change over!!)

Mentioned above! The TV/the guide/didn't tell me about what my/who was on my shows!? I quess I could've used the/an elevator closer to my hotel room 🙃

We arrived late at night and the rooms were clean and inviting. Breakfast in the morning was good and the service was orderly and helpful. The whole feel of the place was welcoming, one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had.

Motel charged me a $25 fee for possible room charges without telling me. At check in and out staff stated the fee would be automatically refunded if we had no room charges. We had none and it wasn't auto reimbursed. In fact, it was not even shown on the bill. All I have is a charge on my card greater than what I booked the room for. Felt like they should not handle it that way. I know it is not a lot of money but feel like they hoodwinked me and not sure they will refund it without having to complain to the company

Hotel is beautifully designed. Comfy bed slept like a baby. Delicious hot buffet breakfast! Staff was awesome!

the property was clean and the staff was extremely nice and so helpful. Ryan at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure my sister and I were taken care of after our tire blew on the highway leaving us stuck in this wonderful little city, til the morning. His customer service was prompt and impeccable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the area. I felt very safe overall.

This has nothing to do with the property nor the staff, but there was an older man who came up and sat and watched me and my younger sister swim causing us to feel very uncomfortable.

What breakfast??? Cold cereal

All shifts was super polite upon the arrival. Mid day staff went above and beyond to see if we was able to check in early. Afternoon staff was polite, respectful and and was prompt and quick, regardless of how busy it had gotten. She was on it. Overnight staff made sure we was all comfortable and had everything we needed. Morning staff was polite courteous joked around with my kids. I appreciate everyone. My kids and our guests had a fantastic time. The staff made our surprise sweet 16 b-day wonderful. Thank you very much Ryan, Alysha, Kelly, Justin!!!

We've stayed here several times and it's always comfortable and convenient. The breakfast isn't anything special but having hot eggs and sausage waiting is always a plus for us.

A small thing that always bothers us is the lack of towel bars or robe hooks in the bathroom. There is one one hook to hang everything. The towels end up on the floor or taking up counter space. Also since Radisson took over they only make up the room every other day. That's not a big deal but it would be nice if they checked your soap and coffee so you didn't have to make a trip to the front desk.

This was by far the best hotel that we stayed at during a trip from Arizona to Wisconsin. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The hotel itself is new and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast (included) was awesome - again the best we had. Definitely a 5-star rating!

Actually our stay was great - no complaints at all. It wasn't quite within walking distance of the campus, but it was a short drive to a wonderful brew pub.
