GLō Best Western Lexington

This hotel looks modern, clean and new. The staffs are friendly. There is a Crate & Barrel gift shop and its restaurant 2 blocks away and a McDonald within one block. A gas station and its convenient store is right next door. Our room is big and comfortable. The breakfast has different varieties everyday and the breakfast lady is so friendly! She keeps adding food so there would always have enough supply for the breakfast and she keeps the tables clean so it’s easy to find seating at the breakfast area.

We stayed here for 3 nights. They did not make the bed. They told us that during COVID if we stay less then 3 nights they don’t make the bed everyday. So they only changed the towels and took out our garbage.

The place was very clean, modern, beautiful, the rooms had everything, the bathroom was huge, definitely the biggest bathroom I've ever seen in a hotel. The showers came with shampoo, conditioner,and body wash. The receptionist was so friendly and polite, she made us feel welcome 😁 Parking was free, the pool was very clean (my kids had a blast), and I was able to register online before arriving, which is a plus. We truly enjoyed staying at this place. I don't understand why it only has 2 starts, it should have way more.

The breakfast didn't have many options for food. Other than that, everything was great!

. The decore and location owns are great. The female staffing at the front desk are very nice. I also want to add that I did complain about one thing and it was fixed immediately. Over all I'd stay again but not for the price I paid. The decorations doesn't make jmit worth it nether dies the bed.

My only complaint was the the floor I was on smelled like Marijuana. I told the staff this and it was taken care of right away (so thays a little of both) The pillows where a little hard and there isn't a a microwave in the rooms which for the price you would think their would be and the mini fridge wasn't really cold. There was a few hairs in the bathroom sink (I am over housing in another hotel) I understand some times accident happens and the staff can control what the guest do. The females that work the front desk and are very kind amd very helpful. The only thing I want now is my mommy that booking promised meI would get back.

The breakfast bar was excellent. Lots to choose from and usually an issue since we are gluten free. They have a yogurt machine with fruit and nuts to make your own parfait that was delicious. There’s ham or bacon, scrambled and fried eggs, oat meal and fresh fruit. The beds we’re comfortable and we slept well.

We always find that hotel rooms aren’t as clean as we would like, the rooms here are no exception. We noticed dust on the light fixtures, air vents and bathroom fan. There were surfaces in the bathroom that needed wiping down. We would stay there again despite this.

Confortable beds, nice thick pillows, clean rooms, working elevators. Keurig coffee maker in room. Nice hot showers. Huge room. Big picture window. Safe area. Walking distance to Cracker Barrel and a few fast food restaurants. We went on a Thursday and even though other people were there, it was quiet.

I'm not a big fan of light in my room when I go to sleep. The alarm clock was lit up bright as well as the light switch by the door. Was able to cover the clock with a cloth. So that helped. Not a fun of the modern contemporary look, but thats just us.

The breakfast was very good and had a decent variety. The eggs were a bit funky with a very, very flat yolk (indicative of precooked and frozen rewarmed) but tasted good just the same. Surprised they served Canadian bacon. Pastries, dairy products, cereal, juice were plentiful. The rooms are very clean and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Disappointed that ther was $30 pet fee. Most other hotels we have stayed at charge $0 t0 $20, however in view of all the other amenities te charge was a moot point. I’d stay again. Oh yes did I mention easy off easy on to Interstate 64?

We loved our room, beds, lighting, the decor, the shower. The hot breakfasts in the morning were amazing! We loved that we had so many fresh options to choose from. Everything felt very clean but also comfortable, there was a warmth to the hotel decor that made it feel welcoming but also lavish.

The pool water was a bit too cold for an indoor pool in February. Also because we are local residents we were charged an additional $250 damage deposit. I'm still unclear on why. We are waiting for that to be refunded, it was not refunded immediately after check out. The price per night was a bit steep for our budget but more financially blessed families would consider it very fairly priced, all in all it was worth it.

This hotel is brand new and nice. The staff that I dealt with were very professional, friendly, and helpful. Was in town for a family event and the location was perfect! Quite honestly, the decor is a little too modern for my tastes, but it didn't detract from my stay. Would stay again when in town.

The large shower had a rainfall head and a regular shower head, but there didn't seem to be enough water pressure to operate both at the same time. All in all, a small thing.

Our first stay at a Glo and we were very impressed. The decor was very modern and upscale. The staff was friendly and texted information needed. The room was spacious. The beds comfy. Loved oversized plush bath towels. Walk in shower had two shower heads and great water pressure. Keurig coffee makers, fridge, microwave and room safe. The breakfast was spectacular. They had food options for any dietary needs. Will definitely stay again.

Pool was a little too chilly for my old bones. Would have liked a hot tub to relax after a long drive.

Rooms were very decent size for a family of 4. Breakfast was good with good variety. Overall for the price, it was a good value. Kentucky is amazingly beautiful and in a great area for the family.

The pool. It was small, it had excess chlorine the area is very closed off so the chlorine concentration is very high, combining that with the heat it made it very hard to be there for a long time. Scrambled eggs were always very runny...
