Drury Inn & Suites Louisville East

I have stayed in a MANY of hotels but this hotel is by far the cleanest, friendliest and most accommodating hotel that I’ve ever stayed in. The room exceeded my expectations. I traveled with my Sister for Derby week. We had room for every hat, shoe and dress we brought! We didn’t have to fight for space. The bed was comfy and the linens were nice. Breakfast was lovely but the icing on the cake has to be the wind-down time around dinner time. Superb! Due to nasty weather that was coming in, we were happy and honored to be a guest here another night. With about a very short 15minute drive to the Expo Center, Drury Hotel should be your first choice.

I’m grasping for straws here on how anyone could make this hotel ANY better because it is PERFECT! But if I could have a wishlist thing: I would have loved, at the end of the day, COOKIES LOL. They have an awesome popcorn machine but since I’m not a popcorn gal, I would have loved a cookie.

The beds were amazingly comfortable, and the whole facility was very clean and secure. A couple of notes if you haven't traveled in a while. This drury didn't have blankets or bedspreads. I asked for blankets and was told there's a comforter between sheets. I got blankets anyway, couldn't believe the thin sheets and obviously thin comforter would be adequate on a chilly night. Turns out they were right, blankets were not needed. Also they no longer put shampoo etc in the room. One bar of soap we had to move from sink to tub and back, oh the inconvenience! Lol, I appreciated the "sustainability " effort tho.

Other guests who stood around blocking the hallway as we and others tried to get through...not really drury's fault, but they might have designed a roomier front lobby. Or rejected guests who lack common courtesy? Also the desk clerk told us breakfast starts at 7 but saw as we left at 630 they were serving. We would've adjusted our plans had we known, just grabbed bananas for the road

Nice hotel with fully functioning indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub. After a long day traveling the Kickback evening appetizers and drinks are appreciated. Morning breakfast was good but surprised there was no waffle maker or pancake option. You can hear some traffic noise due to freeway, suggest you bring earplugs if that kind of thing is bothersome. We had a Superior King Suite and it was very comfortable. Good design, nice furnishings. Hotel is clean, staff friendly, easy to get to.

They want you to go to the front desk to get drinks tickets for evening Kickback meal. Front desk is busy checking people in at that time. And all you're going to do is take the tickets to the bartender in the next room. Just let the bartender handle the drinks and front desk do their job. There's no need for crossover and waits.

clean. comfortable. loved the complimentary dinner. We wee first time guest at Drury and did not expect dinner. Breakfast was great also. I have been loyal Hampton Inn guests for years. I may have found my new choice of where to stay from now on.

I did not request a room on an upper floor as I do not like ground floor rooms but we were on the ground floor the 1st room on the left from the lobby. Not the Hotel staffs fault and it was a bit noisy but was sure convenient to the food!!

I looked for a property for a bit and made several changes, but am so glad I stuck with this one! Staff was welcoming and friendly, facility was clean, and the location was perfect for us and about 5 minutes from our destination. The pool/hot tub area was open and clean, but we forgot our suits so we’re unable to try it out. The breakfast is buffet style hot breakfast with biscuit/gravy, eggs, sausage, waffles, potatoes, oatmeal along with cereals, muffins, and fresh fruit. Added bonus is every evening they also have a snack/dinner service with various items including hot dogs, nachos, salads along with nightly items such as Alfredo, grilled chicken, bbq sliders, baked potatoes, etc. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. And we will definitely look into this location as well as this brand for all of our travels moving forward. I have always wanted to stay with Drury when visiting Nashville but have yet to do so, but our next trip we will check with them. Book with this hotel, you won’t regret it.

The staff was wonderful. The Booking.com reservation I had apparently did not show up in the Drury Inn's reservation system (apparently not the first time this has happened with Booking.com). The staff apologized, provided us with a room upgrade all for a lower price.

The Booking.com reservation didn't show up in Drury Inn's system and I was told this wasn't the first time. Apparently there's an issue between the reservation systems that I hope will be addressed by both parties.

The fridges did not work properly and did not get cold. Other guest complained too so it was not just ours. This was important to us. The pull out bed had a miserable mattress, but we got 3 extra comforters to sleep on. One elevator went out and had us running late for our destination

The staff was very welcoming. After a day of traveling the hot meal was much needed.

I sent a message to the hotel that we had a dog and would need a 1st floor if available. The clerk stated that he didn't see any notation about a dog. We had a 2nd floor room and needed to use an elevator. Our dog was very afraid to get in every time she needed to go outside. The next day I received a message with the increase in our bill. Funny thing it was in my messages right under the message that I sent them about our dog.

The staff was so friendly. It was very clean and loved the kick back time. The location was so convenient to what we wanted to do. Plus really to everything around Louisville and in safe location as well. We definitely will be back and will be looking for other Drury Suites at other States to stay in. The pillows could be a little more firmer but other than that nothing at all to complain about!

The food was very good, great selection for all(3 adults & 4 kids in our party). Staff was very friendly we looked forward to speaking with Maria every morning and evening :)

We did have a issue on Friday night with all the teenagers(baseball) running the halls knocking on doors and Saturday we were next to guest with 2 dogs that barked pretty much through the night. Other nights we beautiful.
