Hyatt House Louisville East

We were travelling with our senior doggie and this hotel is pet friendly! Loved our room, it had a living area, a nice kitchen and a very comfortable bed! The property also has a nice bar with appetizers available. They serve a hot breakfast every morning.

The only complaint I have (if you can even call it that) was that they didn't offer made-to-order omelets every day. They offer them on a rotating basis. Some mornings, they do custom pancakes or waffles and other mornings, they do omelets.

The staff were amazing. The kitchen workers!! The breakfast was fantastic. The lady cleaning and stocking the breakfast area was so clean and organized! I loved it. The weekend, cook that made omelets and pancakes was the sweetest and so caring in her work. I loved the breakfast, best complimentary hotel breakfast ever! A general cleaning guy or helper around the hotel was super polite everyone we passed. So good at their jobs! Front desk staff were all really kind! The building and room were very good. I would always like cleaner tons but these were good for a hotel. Check the fridge and behind bathroom doors, and under couch cushions. If say you can always use more cleaning staff so they aren't stretched too thin.

The lobby smells like fried food because of the kitchen. You need a vent hood that runs all the time in the kitchen. It's not a good smell on first arrival and I don't want to smell like food when I leave. Sadly some other customers were using marijuana in the hotel and in the middle of the night the hallway reeked of it and even my room started to smell, too. They were also fighting loudly. Sadly the police wouldn't come. The staff did their best but I'm wondering how in the world the smoke alarm didn't go off. That didn't make me feel safe.

Craig and Kim (bar/food) were fantastic. We spent a lot of time in the bar area - more than planned because they brought such a fun and inviting atmosphere to sitting and having a drink - and snack!!! They were definitely the highlight of our stay!! Probably the best service I have had in a long time. They were just nice people we were very happy to have met!!! And it appeared that those that were there felt the same as we did!!! Love the breakfast as well!!! Awesome selection and great hours!!! I love staying at this hotel because it is in a great location, well kept and not that I have one but is pet friendly!!! Great amenities...I will stay here every time I am in Louisville to visit my daughter!!!!

Can't say there was anything bad....

Staff was great. Rooms were well appointed and extremely usable for a business traveler. Flexibility in the room for someone who works remotely was awesome. Shower was hot immediately with high pressure. Kitchen was great for a longer stay and super usable for someone who will be using the room as office space. Accessibility to local eateries is good- plenty of food within walking distance. Good park across the street for running and proximity to local gyms is also good.

My shower had a slight drain issue that was never a major issue but still. I wish coffee was kept out until noon. There isn’t great noise cancelling between rooms.

Nice, large comfortable room. There's a sitting area with a TV and when you're ready to get some sleep, the TV pivots and you can watch from the comfort of your bed! The kitchenette is nicely equipped, too. Coffee maker in the room. Great breakfast options. We won't stay anywhere else when we go to Louisville. The beds are comfortable, and there's plenty of pillows.

There's really nothing that we didn't like. I have absolutely no complaints about this property. None.

Hotel was Beautiful. Vey clean friendly helpful staff from the front desk to housekeeping and breakfast staff!! Room was clean Beds very comfortable and slept well!! Wonderful selection on breakfast. Made to order pancakes. Had something different every morning for breakfast. Pool was small but nice water temperature okay one day was warmer then the other and the fitness room was great. Elevators fast and efficient. Good location east of Louisville..to where we were visiting. Highly recommend

Wish pool was warmer larger and there was a hot tub.

rooms were a bit larger than most hotels. large selection at breakfast. the bar in the evening was nice. the glass shower doors are an improvement from tub and shower curtain. large closet. modern air conditioning wall unit. the couch was nice. the tv was huge. Jeremy was pleasant and helpful. Monty was a wonderful bartender. Our maid was very friendly and personable.

the sliding bathroom door isn’t exactly sound proof or even a sound minimizer. could use a small table or shelf in bathroom to hold toiletries since there is not a lot of space on the sink. i wished the thermostat went to 60 instead of 65 because we were still sweating in bed with the setting at 65

The cleanliness was wonderful and the bar area was great. We got a free upgrade to a suite which was nice because it allowed us to make our own dinner a few nights.

The breakfast. I've had better breakfast at lower rated hotels. There's something to be said for a hot cooked breakfast. The only "fresh" food they had was scrambled eggs that were overdone and french toast sticks that were worse than the ones they serve in public school. Floppy, bready and NOT soaked in an egg wash, rather lightly dunked.

The friendly staff, the clean comfortable room, awesome water pressure.

Had to ask for towels the second day. We were told by our archery coaches to bring towels. We did but didn't want to use them since you had them there so we wouldn't have to worry about them not drying properly. I know when I worked in housekeeping that those were refreshed every day and room vacuumed every day unless otherwise specified by occupant. When I gave the used towels to the housekeeper the first day she didn't seem very friendly and told me to drop them by the door. I figured she would have knocked with new ones when she picked the dirty ones up. So I would have expected better from your quality hotel. However the rest of the staff definitely matched the quality of your hotel. I would definitely stay there again. Thank You for the awesome experience.

Breakfast was amazing. We had several options and even had to make our breakfast options. The dining area was clean, and the food was replenished with fresh food. I have never enjoyed breakfast at a hotel before in my life, but at Hyatt House, Louisville East was exceptional. The food was great at the bar area too. I ordered a burger sandwich and had a couple of fine Kentucky bourbons. It was a lovely experience. Everyone was amicable, and the bartender "Monty" was excellent at what he did.
