SpringHill Suites Louisville Airport

The location is very good. close to the airport and the conference center. Staff were very friendly and helpful and arranged free transfers to the airport and conference center. Large rooms with a comfortable bed. Note. it is only about a 15 - 20 minute walk to the conference center if you want to stretch your legs. :-)

As with many hotels in the US, it really annoys me that most hotels continue to issue throw away plastic knives, forks and plates for the breakfast service. I understand that throwing away the cutlery is less expensive than hiring a person to collect and wash them but, eating with flimsy plastic forks and knife is not very appetizing and is simply sustainable. Putting stickers up in the bathroom to encouraging guests to use a towel twice for the benefit of the environment while at the same time issuing only disposable cutlery for the breakfast service is quite cynical.

Convenient location for our needs (Mega Cavern). The check-in person was nice and we had no issues. The room we stayed in was clean and spacious. I liked the soap, conditioner and shampoo bottles on the wall in the shower. Nice spread for breakfast. Pool looked nice, even though we didn’t use it. The woman behind the counter during check-out was super nice. She gave us a map to help in our adventures to explore Louisville.

We had reserved one queen bed and received two double beds. Luckily my husband and I aren’t that big, but we struggled a bit to get comfortable. There was a partial closet wall by my head and I always stretch out my arm, so I’m sure that was part of the reason why I struggled a bit with sleep. Bed was very firm.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and relatively quiet (except for the fact that it's near the airport and the noise of planes taking off was noticeable). The staff was very friendly and helpful; I got there after midnight and they very quickly got me checked in.

They kept the hairdryer in the closet on the other side of the room from the bathroom, and I had to go hunt for it.

The front desk staff along with the person who runs the continental breakfast were awesome. I had a couple of room issues, one of which was fixed the next day. All in all I wouldn't have a problem staying at this hotel again.

The toilets are too low for my liking. I thought the rooms would be cleaned daily, but that's on me. There was no problem getting clean towels from the desk though. The bathroom sink was slow to drain on occasion.

Great location to the Airport and the Expo center. Hotel room was very clean and comfortable.

No restaurants near this location that are any good. Some of the front desk staff need a customer service class, the pictures of the rooms on the website are not accurate at all. Very small bathroom, shower door almost touched the toilet when you open it. Breakfast didn't stay open long enough.

the lady that was working check in when we got there, around 1030pm, had no idea what she was doing. it took her nearly 40-45 minutes to finally get us checked into our room, she kept answering the phone when it rang and got rather rude with some of the people calling. her name was Kim.

Good place to stay for airport access.

The only thing I didn't like was the alarm clock did not go off at 0400hrs as it was set for. It looked like it would but if I hadn't of woke up on my on at 0402hrs my son would of missed his flight to his next Air force station. That would of been a real problem. I think you need to check all of the alarm clocks for operation. Other then that All was good.

Location to amusement park and waterpark. Right off I-65 so convenient for interstate travel (weekend road trip from Indiana). Manager on duty was exceptional. His commitment to ensuring we had a pleasurable stay did not go unnoticed. He took his job seriously which was refreshing to see in the service sector.

Very limited dining choices. Suite had only one television to be shared among up to six people. Pool is incredibly small (capacity sign read no more than five people in pool at the same time! LOL). Hotel front desk staff were great. Kitchen staff, not so much.

The room was better than anticipated, clean, updated, spacious, quiet (despite being almost directly in the flight path of landing aircraft 1/4 mile from the airport!). The shower was quite nice. Great water pressure, large, clean, with great wall mounted shampoo/conditioner/body wash. So often you get to the room and it is dingy, seems not clean (especially carpet and bathroom), cramped. This room was genuinely nice to hang out in and relax!

The breakfast was a pre-pandemic affair which creeped us out. Individually wrapped items for takeaway would have been appreciated.

it’s laid out very nicely. The desk area it’s big enough to be productive for my work responsibilities. I was surprised to see a separate pantry area. It’s very close to my exit 65 south. The shower water pressure is on point.

The bathroom and sink area is dirty. There was mold in the shower. Shower shoes, por favor. The toilet seat did not fit the commode. The sink was dirty inside. the refrigerator did not work and there was not a knob to turn it on or up.
