Hampton Inn Metairie

Location was close to my destination. The staff was awesome! Everyone was super polite. The room was a nice size & had a comfy bed & chair. Breakfast was great also. Breakfast went until 10am which was awesome! I’ve never seen it past 9am so this was nice. Check out was noon too. Love that as well. Parking garage was an excellent addition also. Each floor had a door to that floor in the garage which was cool. They decorated the lobby for Mardi Gras which was so fun!

Light bulbs weren’t soft white which was not pleasant. My room looked out onto the highway which wasn’t great but was ok with the blind down so not a deal breaker by any means.

The folks at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was always tasty and a little different each day. The hotel was close to shopping, restaurants, and, most importantly, our son, daughter-in-law, and grandson!

The staff was very welcoming and Loving. everything was awesome from my stay to the fresh hot breakfast in the morning! but most of all they made sure I was comfortable , I loved the fact they even gave me a call to make sure I was comfortable and satisfied with my stay, you guys are awesome! you guys continue to be Great!

housekeeper opened door 830 am while we were sleeping and then made noise doing same down the hall other rooms . she then opened our door announcing housekeeping at approximately 10am again and check out wasn’t till noon . never had this before and woke us up twice

Location was great. We just so happen to be driving to New Orleans on Mardi Gras weekend. The rates were really high in the French quarter so we decided to stay here. GREAT location for the price and your team did an amazing job with COVID protocols. We felt very safe and we all slept well. The bed was super comfy. That’s not usually the case when we’re on vacation. Even the breakfast selection was great! Wasn’t expecting bagels but it was a pleasant surprise. Made my 5 year old’s morning! We will be retuning back the next time we go to New Orleans. The next night, we stayed at the country inn and suites- definitely not the same. They aren’t as clean and the facilities aren’t as nice.

staff in all areas were friendly, professional, courteous and efficient! We went to the breakfast area and the tables were well marked to provide maximum distancing. Whenever we got up to get something, not only was our area wiped, but everywhere we touched or went was immediately sanitized! no chance of exposure there!! Front desk found us a better rate without us asking and applied it to our bill.

The only negative has nothing to do with the hotel, but the government taxes are high as are most areas they target the visitors with high taxes!

Shuttle from airport was great. Hotel located near large shopping mall. Very clean. Staff contacted taxi service for our transport to cruise terminal.

Located near highway, so there's no views.

Great location: lots of real restaurants (no fast food), a newish shoppingmall, a supermarket with all the healthy stuff, all within walking distance. The hospitality: a kind guy at checkin, the fluffy towels and the very good breakfast.

To be honest, the building is a bit fraying around the edges

The room was overall comfortable.

It was freezing outside and the heat did not work in my room. I asked for more blankets and someone came to check the thermostat but the heater was broken or not functioning.

It was very clean and spacious . Peaceful and the breakfast was great . Easy access to highway as well
