La Quinta Inn by Wyndham New Orleans Veterans / Metairie

We booked this room because of an early flight out of New Orleans. Overall the room wasn't bad. The bed was comfy.

The lady at check-in was not friendly at all. Upon entering the room you can tell it needs quite a few updates. Great water pressure in the shower except that it's so strong it feels like it's ripping off your skin and the bathroom really needs an exhaust fan. Like many comments I've read before on this particular Hotel it definitely needs new carpet or a thorough cleaning of the carpet.

The location. Close to plenty restaurants. Walking distance . The bed was comfortable. Tv has Netflix. Room AC was amazing. Water was hot for a long time.

The sudden Incidental fee . Tub can use a deep clean. Bathroom door didn’t close properly. Tv was small but suitable.

I loved the location. It was in the perfect spot for the best restaurants and not far from city park. I also loved they allowed our pets in without hesitation and the breakfast was incredible.

I wish they had breakfast later in the morning for people like me who like to sleep in.

Staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. I enjoy it here. Thank you

Bring on second floor with small kids and emotional support dog made it hard. Had 2nd major back surgery in February 2023 and I'm 66yrs old.

all of this experience was amazing the room was clean the breakfast was tasty the front desk person ( sorry I dont remember his name ) was a pure JOY he checked us in at night and doubted back the next morning as we were having breakfast just as friendly and joyful as the night before I will be staying there again my next trip down thank you for this easy booking experience :)

Bed was extremely comfortable! Appreciated the little coffee maker in the room. Except for freeway traffic noise, the hotel was quiet. Thank you for the strong coffee in lobby every morning!

Let us know that rooms will not be cleaned daily because I accumulated lots of food trash in the trash buckets. I am not complaining but would like to know exactly what to expect.

Room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable

Had to go back and get keys that worked. At 8:00, someone used a key and opened our door and they were shocked to see we were there. We mentioned it the next morning and reception said that room wasn’t even booked. ? Wrong! We were there and it was booked to someone else also!

convenient, good value, first floor, quiet, easy access to pool/ parking/room, front desk very friendly both evening & morning, invited me to breakfast when checking out

it’s showing it’s age, bathroom clean but walls and doorway really old and multi repaired, tub stained

The entire staff that I encountered was extremely friendly , helpful and very eager to please. I would especially like to thank Jeff because he was the most memorable front desk hotel employee I have ever encountered. When I first arrived and announced my last name he called me by first name because he had reviewed the bookings and remembered my name. I was very impressed. We had a nice conversation and I hope to see him again , he was so professional and personable which made me very comfortable and safe during my two night stay.

Exterior of the mini fridge had rust and looked very old but inside was very clean.

Slight issue with the 1st room. They quickly accommodated us and placed us in another room

There was a problem with the 1st room not having hot water
