Ramada by Wyndham Metairie New Orleans Airport

Easy access to rooms inside. Named rooms on door. Small laundry room to wash clothes. Not too expensive machines. Little later checkout of 11, unlike some that are 10. Since we checked in late just to get a good night rest before traveling again. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Nice towels and linens very clean it had no odd odors in the room. The 24 IHOP was a plus next door. But you could smell it in the hallways when leaving.

The pillows were flat and lumpy. But it looked like they were that way because they had been washed so much. So thats a good thing. Some of the other visitors were disruptive, dramatic, and yelling at each other. But staff was quick to tell them to stop. Air could have been working a little cooler. We had it as low as it could go and still didn't feel the cool we like for sleeping. No vent in bathroom so it got really hot in there. Needed to leave the door open in the room to be comfortable for a long shower

i chose the room based on its location. new orleans is easily accessible from here. i didn't have to worry about paying for parking at the hotel as some hotels in the city do not have parking. i was also located next to ihop so i could easily get food or have it delivered.

i didn't like that the provided breakfast was simply a biscuit and juice. i think that is a bit misleading to say we offer breakfast and that's what is provided.

The location was very accessible to restaurants and shopping. It's also right off of the highway, which was wonderful. Staff was friendly and accommodated people with special needs.

The only concern was the breakfast variety. I know the hotel is connected to a restaurant and doesn't want to compete. Offering yogurt as well would have been nice.

the room was large and very clean, I loved having a patio with a sliding door but the highway noise was so loud, I had to shut them. had I known, I would have asked for a view of the pool which was on the other side. they don't have a little convenience area where you could buy water, snacks, and toiletries. the free breakfast is from IHOP. there are no substitutions but had actually a decent breakfast there. that I ended up paying for and could not believe the price. through the place is in need of updating it was spotless and bed was comfortable. my issue: the elevator was scary. so I took the stairs. There was a vent in the bathroom that air came out of but it was so loud. I had to leave the bathroom door closed. You'll need a car or Uber to get anywhere though I was able to walk to CVS for 20 min in a safe area but no shops near. The cleaning ladies did a fantastic job and the front desk people were friendly.

I DIDN'T LIKE THAT FREE BREAKFAST MEANT GOING TO IHOP. and it wasn't specified in the reservations. the highway noise was loud . and all they had to offer were vending machines for water and snacks, I forgot my toothbrush and thought they would have a little store like other hotels.

The property was very clean and gave you plenty of towels. The bed was very comfortable. I love the  modern look of the hotel .The hotel felt very secure with a lot of cameras, and was quiet throughout the floors.  the staff will very helpful and nice . We will definitely be staying here again.. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️10/10

I loved everything

It was quiet and clean. The staff was pleasant. It was horribly hard to find; Google maps has it listed on Service Road East rather than Service Road West, and finding the place was a nightmare. I only found it because I thought to put in iHop as the destination. Breakfast was ok, though the iHop was under construction so it was a bit awkward. Accessible room was truly accessible, which I appreciated.

Location! Someone there needs to contact Google maps.

They swapped out grits for oatmeal with the “free voucher” breakfast; Yay! I was able to pair that with sausage and eggs I purchased from IHOP. Yummy! The rooms are equipped with some of the best mini fridges I have ever used. Keeps food, drinks and medications super cold!!! The rooms are always clean when we stay. Hotel staff (cleaning crew) are always friendly and accommodating.

My mattress was firm. My daughter’s room had a plush mattress. That wasn’t the staff’s fault; I don’t believe they’re aware that the rooms have different mattresses in them. However, my sleep was still surprisingly restful. Front desk. Both times I encountered distracted front end staff while I was checking in and out. The first one was on her phone for a good five minutes before acknowledging me, but she was friendly (but loud). The last one was distracted by her kid. And was even LOUDER. And unnecessarily rude. Left a bad taste in my mouth, especially since I had to cut my vacation short due to Hurricane Ida.

Breakfast, most of the staff was nice, rooms, clean, a/c works, nice smell. I would recommend.

Breakfast could of been more choices. I could not eat pork/beef or the drink option for health reasond and they would not substitute to my needs. Weekend rate are extremly high. Beds was some uncomfortable. The staff could not tell me anything straight about the deposit. House keeping came about 9:30am and said the couldn't come back later.

Location, easy check in & check out, nice sized room, nice comfy sofa in room, nice balcony - housekeeping was prompt and very nice. The IHOP was crappy early am (5am) no orange juice, no creamer, weak terrible coffee. I went and bought a small coffee maker & my own cream. We didn't use breakfast vouchers after the first day. Maybe serve your own - even if it's just a continental breakfast.

Awful bed, it was not very comfortable.

The price was a little high for the age and condition of the building but everything else was amazing. We really enjoyed ourselves.
