Hyatt Centric French Quarter

The Hyatt Centric French Quarter was a wonderful place to stay and I would stay here again. The room was very spacious , clean to my liking and the restaurant staff were kind and funny. I felt safe here

not the biggest issue but if i had to say anything I didnt like it would be that there was not a microwave in the room. couldnt bring back any food to heat for later

We came to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and choose Hyatt Centric because it is perfectly located, easy to reach restaurants, bars, and shops, all within walking distance. The room was great, very comfortable bed and super clean. The staff at the front desk was very kind, very helpful in advising tour options, and even the bellhop was so kind and helpful. The drinks at the bar are really well made, nothing to complain about that. "Chapeau for Hyatt Centric! Will definitely recommend it!

There is nothing we did not like, everything was just great!

We were right at the start of Burbon St and Canal where the streetcars are was great for ease in visiting other parts of the city. The hotel had a lovely lobby and bar that also served food and a coffee shop for breakfast items. Everyone from the bellmen to to the room service staff was friendly and helpful.

We had a suite (rm 348) and that was directly above Burbon St. The suite was large and comfortable but the noise, pretty much day and night required ear plugs, when we weren't out partying ourselves.

We loved the location and the homelike feeling of this hotel. People knew us within a couple days and we felt very comfortable here. We ate breakfast in the restaurant every morning and sat in the bar for a bit of happy hour every afternoon. And we very much enjoyed the courtyard and pool area just outside our room, with all the comfortable seating. This was a great place for us to decompress after a busy day. What a wonderful place in a fascinating city.

The hotel was located right at one end of Bourbon Street in the French Quarter. My wife and I were visiting New Orleans for the first time and this hotel was in the perfect spot for us as tourists. It was also close to Canal Street where we could catch a tram/street car to other areas. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the entire hotel was immaculately clean.

The window in our room was not able to close fully, which made it quite noisy at night given the location in the French Quarter.

our only complaint was that housekeeping tried to clean our room at 8am everyday and that’s very early when you’ve been out the night before. that was resolved after a couple days and all was well the rest of the trip.

The hotel only had one microwave in the location of the hotel.

I like the friendly and knowlegeable staff. Very people personable and patient.

First, there wasn’t an microwave. Second, the sofa wasn’t in a place that watching TV from it was possible. The sofa was against the same wall as the TV. The TV could not swivel enough to make watching comfortable. The unusable sofa (for TV viewing) was the only seat in the room. Never seen a nice and expensive room that did not have at least one extra chair. Normally one doesn’t watch much TV in NOLA, but we had a day of storms. The safe in our room failed and required a security guy to fix. I suggest always removing valuables the night before as this could have caused us to miss a flight. One last thing, I you can’t walk very far, request a room near the elevators. Ours was a very long walk.
