Courtyard by Marriott New Orleans Downtown Near the French Quarter

Location was great, just one block from the French Quarter and right on the green street car line. First night there we asked for recommendations for dinner and one of the places the staff recommended was Luke's which was just a block and a half away and had the best fried oysters that I have had in a long time.

I didn't like the pillows on my bed but the mattress itself was very comfortable. Also, I am a tea drinker and not a coffee drinker. Good thing I brought my own tea so I could have hot tea in the morning. I thought that I could probably go down to the front desk to get some but, since I brought my own it wasn't necessary. I do think that having that in the rooms would be nice.

Our room location and view was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything we needed. The rooms were clean and hotel was very quiet which was nice.

Would have preferred breakfast being included with the stay and also the lack of a swimming pool. My sister and I had hoped to relax more but instead ended up just sitting the room most of the time.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Super job!! The bar and breakfast area looked lovely, but I did not use them. The location cant' be beat - right near Canal on St. Charles. I was at Jackson Square and Cafe du Monde in 10 mins of walking.

Tiny room. I was alone, so it didn't matter much, but even alone, I wouldn't have wanted to spend a full week there. No outdoor sunlight because the window faced and inside courtyard.

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating. One of the few hotels in the area that accept pets. The location is great and is about 100 yards from the edge of the French Quarter and less than two blocks from Bourbon Street. There are lots of restaurants close by.

The only downsides were hotel parking is very expensive and there was no space to unload at check in. Lots of unattended cars with their flashers on, but no one at the desk checking in. We ended up unloading around the corner in a "no unloading" area and parked offsite at Canal Place. Otherwise, great hotel in a great location.

I loved the location. 15-20 minute walk to the SuperDome and Bourbon St. Loved that it was right there off Canal St. LOVED the valet attendant Ernest. He was amazing and super friendly and helpful.

Front Desk staff could have been a little friendlier. They didn't smile and gave off the appearance aa if they didn't want to be there.

The beds were very comfortable and the room was immaculate. The water was nice and hot in the large shower. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We needed a taxi to the airport at 4:15 am,the day before, they made the arrangements. When fresh towels were needed, housekeeping was very accommodating. Because the toilet is so low (if you're over 5 ft, a bar could be installed to assist. The was close to everything and I will check in again.

Not too far from French Quarter

Parking is expensive and difficult. Ended up parking 6 blocks away in parking structure across from Roosevelt. Nothing in the facility indicates you’re in NOLA. Lobby Cafe very expensive and all packaged offerings.

I loved the location of the hotel, as well as the staff was amazing.

There wasn't anything we didn't like other than the loudness of the college students, but being prior students ourselves, we expected it.

Accommodations, location, friendly and helpful staff. Atmosphere, quick and easy valet parking. Amenities such as the cocktail bar, available workout room, everything you need is in your room not to mention a huge TV. Great water pressure in the shower.

Little ambiance in the hotel. No room fridge. We saw a homeless man outside masturbating.
